I think it would add more flavor to archers and the atmosphere of the game if the bow models were worked on to give each bow its own feel. More importantly (and likely) I think that arrows would look way cooler without the brown streak animation when flying through the air. Vikingr made the arrows different and more realistic in flight and it looks way better than the native animation.
Please consider redoing the arrow animation! :P

We had awesome new arrow models but they were reverted back to the old ones unfortunately.

It was just for a very small amount of time before they released the next hotfix. Yeah you could actually see the arrow leave the bow and in flight instead of the brown 'streak' we have now. It really made it feel like you were actually shooting an arrow from a bow. I don't know exactly why they reverted it but it might be because it was harder to track your shots but there might be a way to fix that such as give the arrow texture a really light wood color or add little color rings or lengthwise stripes to the texture etc.

If anything it was easier to track shots with the new flight animation, even then the flight time was horrendously slow. :P

Ah ok. I'll look. Would be cool though to have it implemented officially though so everyone sees them. I thought they were massively better than the boring streaks we have but meh...
