This is a FPS and has somekind of MMO aspect game.
People acumulate gold to spend in gear and get experience points, to level their toons and heirloom items.
So my sugestion is to keep the game balanced for a long run, and for people that want a fair balanced game enviroment, and for people that can play only 1-3 hours/day.
The first 3 hours of game every day, people get a bonus x3(Gold and XP) that acumulate with normal round bonus.
This bonus would not penalize people that can play all day long, but
can contribute to lesser the gap between college/kids and etc.. with people that have normal jobs and family.
So it would be like powerhour in some old MMOs, and would not be hard to implement.

dumb idea. this is not welfare system. you are not entitled to stuff you havent earned
-
This will just make players force themselves to play atleast 3 hours a day to not get behind...

I think you might be on to something. We should base the multiplier system around real life, link it to real life achievement that takes time away from the game. So say you have a job, that's a multiplier right there. Married, another one. And of course one for each kid.

Great idea... btw, Im a 50 year old worker with 4 jobs, married with 2 wifes, 10 children. What kind of multiplier will I get 50x?
-
the idea is to help casual players, the hardcore kids could play the 6-10 hours a day as usual, almost with no colateral effects :D

I can understand the basis for it. I'm usually a student at uni (so have crap loads of free time to waste on crpg). However, for the past 2 months I've been working full time and so have a lot less time to spend on it now. It pretty much puts me off retiring once I reach level 31, because I don't have the time to grind out that xp atm and would rather sit back and enjoy my full level HA, even though I want to finish heirlooming my stuff.

Theres already a thing for that, something called upkeep.

yep, I see this 'daily quest' syndrome in many games. People turn into zombies

I do not see like that, the progression would be the same for everyone, Also I do not see a reason why normal people would play more than 1-3 hours per day in a week day(even as student or worker) a online game. So more than that you would not get that much xp/gold.

Unfortunately upkeep only effects new hardcore players. Old hardcore players have accumulated so much money it doesn't effect them really.

Listen up cause this is it. or not. who knows:
when strat gold can get converted to crpg gold, the casual players can just ork in castles and than convert the shit to crpg, and voila, enough shit to do their shit. shit!!

There's a better solution for that. Make it so that after you pass 3 hour mark per day, you get 0 XP and 0 gold. That way you would force those who grind to stop playing after 3 hours. People who play just for fun will keep playing just like in Native.

Uhm, i work, usually i get home 6-7ish, throw in a few hours of gaming. I don't feel i've been left behind. Considering I didnt play for 3 months, i actually feel like im doing well. Maybe some people are just better players? Also keep in mind this is NOT a direct competition. Strategy and teamwork will beat grind most of the time imho.
