Title: Can we have Alternative NA Strategus server until the new one up??
Post by: Keshian on July 17, 2011, 05:47:53 pm: RIght now if you have noticed there are only 2 NA clans that have attacked villages, whereas well over a dozen EU clans have done so. Its because the server is in EU and that gives a huge advantage to EU based clans during the early days of claiming fiefs from neutral villages as you lose half as many troops it seems with equivalent ping to the defenders. Is there any chance we can get an alternative NA strategus server in the meanwhile or at least let us know the exact day we can expect one up befor the EU takes a 1/3rd of the villages out there???

Agreed. I think right now its just getting the feel for strat before the wipe and real party. But if there isn't das some bewlshit.

It's supposed to, but chadz has said that basically anything can happen with strategus. We need a server for NA man, getting 200 ping on the west coast is brutal!

Agreed, was in the fight against BRD and killed 8 but got 6 team kills due to teammates literally teleporting infront of me. Ask zealot he raged and revenge killed me. But I don't blame him.

Guess you guys missed this post. Shame more people haven't taken notice of it. If it does get wiped, at least you guys didn't spend crpg gold on strat.

I never actually got a chance to kill you, someone ended up teleporting in front of me, and I killed them, then got killed by BRD, heh. The dev team has had access to the server for sometime now, I guess they just need to find time in their oh so busy lives to set the servers up.

A dev mentioned that it would be setup when he finds time within the next couple days and that was said today after all the files were finished uploading to the box, yeah, so.. Yeah. It's just a matter of waiting now, or bugging random developers in the hopes that they might rush and throw the things up faster. I'm going to guess by Wendsday the latest, but who knows.

Having played on the EU servers, with also horrible ping, I would also support a temp. Strategus server for NA, I mean if it's going to take a couple days, that's a lot of battles gone by, it's just getting frustrating playing with that ping, although I am learning..
