Title: Upkeep Conspiracy Theory

Conspiracy Alert!

I remember a post by chadz or another dev that the intention was that if you saw a guy in full plate running around, you knew he was the Lord of something in Strategus.

Now, that repair costs seem to be rather over-the-top suggests to me that there will be a link between Strategus and either income, upkeep or both.

Yeh, I haven't noticed it, not sure if it was just never implemented or if its something that was taken out.

If it is going to be implemented, it want be before the new strat arrives. You cant transfere gold from strat to cRPG currently.
But I still think this is the plan, anyway I think it would be fun if the few lords there are would have an advantedge.

I really wish Strategus would just have as little impact on regular cRPG as possible.  The people who used it last time to retire a ridiculous amount of times in its first iteration annoyed me, and frankly I can't imagine how it could offer any addition to cRPG that I'd appreciate.
