Title: UN's latest HDI rankings put Calradia lower than Sierra Leone
Post by: Panoply on July 15, 2011, 06:15:48 pm
So... apparently the gold a fief has is directly related to the equipment the NPC can purchase for its defending force. As far as I can see, most fiefs have a pretty bad gold to population ratio.

For example: Reyvadin has 276875 for 20000 population, leaving less than 14 gold to equip each troop.

Now it might make sense that villages can only equip their defending troops in peasant garb, but for a large town this seems a bit absurd. Hopefully this gets fixed before people start mustering 1/3+1 armies just to slaughter peasants.

Save the Dashbighans!

I agree that it should be increased for towns (and be monsters for cities and such).
Fighting someone who has the equivalent of 1400 gold in non-strat Battle is laughable.

And when did cities get 20K population???  Witht the nerf to recruitment from villages and the spawn below the walls being so close only ladders can work and ladders being 1 per unarmed person, its going to be next to impossible to take a city until 5-6 months from now.

Latest reports indicate that Calradian development projects have paid off, and living standards are at an all time high.

Reyvadin is reporting wealth-per-capita at nearly 60 gold!
