as stupid as a mistake like this can be, I completely forgot the username of the website account it made me create when it forces you to update your login and now I cant login to the site, is there any possible way I can retrieve said account name

Use the password recovery ("i forgot my password"), both methods (ingame or new char) will tell you the account name.
