Why do we need 1 sloted polearms if they cant stop horses now?
I thought theese short spears are for shielders (with 2slotted shield) as an alternate weapon to fight against horsemen somehow. But now i can not understand how to use them.
I didnt see this change in a patch changes list. So maybe it is a bug? Or not? Can it be further like it was in previous patch?
And why such a decision was made about 1 slotted polearms? Thank you.

Woah that is a big change, I was under the impression every polearm with a thrust still stopped horses?

I was really under the impression my quarter staff doesn't stop horses anymore.. quite sure really.
Will do some testing later.

"normal" polearms dont rear horses anymore. Only long spear, pikes and weapons like them does.
I really think this is a change for the worse, but I can see the arguments that if 2h gets speed nerfed and horses get nerfed as well the easiest way to balance it is to remove the rear effect from "duel capable polearms.

make polearms 5 slots, so backpedalspammer noobs can't use polearms again
