Title: Number of slot for some 2 handers weapons
Post by: Lamk on July 14, 2011, 12:56:44 am
I seen than some 2 handers weapons when your caracter run
It take the 2 handers weapon at one hand but my question is why
The katana, longsword and other short 2 handers weapon take 2 slot
But a knightly arming sword take just 1 slot?
Exemple:katana:weapon lenght:95
                         :slot:2
Knightly arming sword:weapon lenght:102
                         :slot:1

Why the katana take 2 slot then it lenght is 95 instead
Of 102 for the knightly arming sword but the knightly take
Just 1 slot?

My suggestion is to change the number of slot for some
2 handers weapons

Weapon length is not the only factor used to determinate if a weapon is one or two slots. If the katana was made a one-slot weapon then a lot of archers and even crossbowmen would use it instead of one of the current one-slot weapons.

??? because people would use it, it shouldn't be 1 slot??  So instead they roll a 1hander/xbower and all use knightly arming sword.  Because people use it is a bad reason to limit people using it.

Because it is too good for a one-slot weapon, that's why. Two handed weapons have animation advantages and are less prone to suffer weapon stun due to higher base weight (katana excluded).
