Would it be possible to make a marketplace for ALTS? It could be made as a completely seperate database/thing, exactly same code and everything just "ALTS = allowed" "MAIN = not allowed"

Would be cool. Although I think the game is now all about mains. STF chars and Strategus really make alts useless.

Yeah but some enjoy playing alts.

So why not allow them to use marketplace as such, improving their ALT experience.

Since this is mainly about alts aquiring Heirlooms (right?...) I'll throw out the thought I had about alts being able to buy heirloom points with gold.

Since you can't trade the items, nor send gold to the alt.... it might not be too bad? IDK. Sorry if I am derailing, just don't like creating too many threads.

This is definitely needed. It's ridiculous that my main can make hundreds of thousands of dollars through the marketplace while my alts are stuck grinding with no alternative. This is especially frustrating with a cav alt.

If not marketplace for alts, transferring equipment between main char and alts also should be nice.

Uhh, so the main would just buy the item and transfer it to the Alt?... may as well enable marketplace for everyone at that point. Unless you mean 1-way transfers, meaning the alt can't transfer to the main, though this only addresses part of the issue.

The no marketplace thing for alts is so that you cannot transfer money between chars, if there was a market place for alts it would be pointless, money and items would still get transfered.

I'm going +1 this. But in my point of view. is it going to happen. Of course 'NOT'. It would be fantastic to be able to do this. So we will wait and see

What exactly is the problem with that? Even if it was a problem I'm sure that it would be possible for trading on the same CD key to be stopped.

Yeah, I would like to see the trade available just between main and alt chars, in both directions.
