Title: polearm madness

well i have 4 points in polearms and i seem to be able to kill lots of people with 1 slash with the great long bardiche , so what would improve if i actually had points in pole arms?

Damage and attack speed. Sadly with the way skill point conversion can be abused you don't really need wpf. Or skills. Unless you want to use a shield or something that absolutely requires the skill. So you can get a bunch of crazy strong 2hander/polearm guys running around with lots of hp doing lots of damage with lots of speed on the swing. But meh. They will get slaughtered when they can't wear the fullplate so.. Oh well.

i just killed a guy wearing full mail with 1 slash lol and as i said i have only 4 pts in polearms and 18 in strength

Too much off-topic can get you banned.

On behalf of the OP's question, the great long bardiche does quite a lot of damage, no matter who handles it. It is slow, though. But long.
