I finally came up with a work I wanted to do a long time ago :
Map "Plain Skirmish" :(click to show/hide)
I spent some time fine tuning the terrain seeds to get a nice river, the rest of the work was rather fast.
Each team begins by one side of the river, far from each other. Team 1 spawns southwest in the picture and team two northwest. Team one is a little more centered because it has to cross the river to take the vantage points. There are 2 bridges to cross it near the map borders where the embankments (?) are too high. The island is reachable by the water, by the wrecked boat for team 1 and by a rope bridge for team 2. It's easier to get there for team 2. To counter that, there is a tower that allows a few people from team 1 to have a nice pew pew spot. You need a ladder to get there.

ADMINS, if you download and add one of these maps to your server, please notify the mapper, thanks!
Made a new map. Hope it works out ok. Its basically a battlefied map. Cav should like it but hopefully enough cover for the rest of us.Linky?(click to show/hide)
You know how they say, No Linky No Hosty!
Also Nasturtium, in your OP, put a screen up of Tsardom Castle, I wanna see, and Thranduil and Whalen's listings are stuck inside Torak's spoiler.
New mapsepic win! looks great!

Chagan_Arslan
I really like your maps. They all look good and I bet they are alot of fun.
Bazaar looks awesome. Sure there will be alot of archers on the roofs but until they get up they will be vulnerable to cavalry charging the streets. Being a cavalry player I really like those streets :)
and anyone have tips to make a forest goodlooking..?add some trees
add some trees:rolleyes:
I've made three maps so far that are ready to be ripped apart. Patiently waiting on server review/approval.
1. Misty Mountain Hop - mountain town skirmish map(click to show/hide)
2. Screaming Trees - Thick forest map(click to show/hide)
3. Bridge Over Troubled Waters - 2 Fort style field map(click to show/hide)

Misty Mountain Hop: Ive played this one, I like the idea and once in the center location its pretty even. It seems more geared towards archers for two reason.(1) That one tower with ladder going up to it. Archers tend to rush to that tower and IF they make it there they have free range or alot of the map to get kills, not to mention, its a pain to get up in there to take em out if youre not ranged. (2) I notice that one team starts by a real high hill on one side of the map--by that damn towe-- and tend to camp there as well. Though the hill can get surrounded and then bye bye archer. haha!
Bridge Over Troubled Waters: Played this one too. Actually disagree with Tofi and I am a Cav. guy. Though it isnt geared toward cav it works just fine. Ive gotten a lot of kills with cav. Its good for archers too in my opinion since they can get off the ground. the general melee(the core of the fun) I dont know too much about but Id say once near the river they seem to have an alright time. But Im not usually front line. :P
Keep up the good work.

The only sad thing is that EU server admins seem to be absent as of late...no new maps or updated maps have been included in rotation for at least a week.Updating maps always requires to restart the servers, doing it every day is annoying to players. I am right now collecting, and if no one stops me I update next weekend.
My first map! Hope it doesn't have too many bugs.
Havoc's Village:(click to show/hide)

You should change the background to a desert one, apart from that, it looks quite nice. :Di have tried changing the background. i replaced the outer_terrain_steppe to outer_terrain_desert but it didn't change anything.
Hey, finished my Motte and Bailey castle :DUpdated map and pics.

We have alot of maps.
If posting a new topic for every map is allowed we're gonna get a lot of topics.
It's better to just keep it here. Besides, look at the first post. Links. He'll update it soon.
If you want to discuss, do it on private or in the comments section of the MBRepository post
Riot in Swadian CityIs it too much too ask, that we should have a day where we all dress as peasants use peasant items and actually have a riot on this map?

This is my first map and in running tests on it, it's been really fun. If you grew up in the '90s, you undoubtedly remember the blockbuster movie "Robin Hood: Prince of Thieves" with Kevin Costner and the awesome battle scene in the middle of Sherwood Forest when the Sheriff of Nottingham unleashes his army of barbarians on Robin Hood and his merry men. I designed this map using that scene as an inspiration and there are a few easter eggs hidden throughout the map. Enjoy!

Someone thought this looked like an archer heaven map but it's actually been pretty balanced. The flora and buildings in the map provide for quite a bit of cover and anywhere an archer can get, so can infantry as I've placed permanent ladders or stairs.
Now this is the way to post a finished map!!! great work, very impressive.
Anyways, here is my map:

Krak des Chevaliers -- siege map
Hello,
a few days ago I've finished my new siege map and I wondered if you'd be intrested to host it.
There is one minor issue which I just don't know how to fix it namely, switching rounds after each siege. I hope you know how to do so, or if you'd be able to tell how to do so.
I've also added screenshots (see link below)
I hope you feel like it's a good map
Any comment is appreciated.
