My thoughts on playing as Archer

As some of you might know, I am a person that has been hating on ranged in cRPG and on the forums for a long time. I finally decided one day to shutup and try playing as an archer instead, just for the heck of it.

So after retiring and playing about 32 levels as an archer, I decided to summarize my somewhat frustrating experience through these forced-memes below.

however, I can relate to the first image already. Joined up the fallen archer squad once when we tried to terrorize the battle server.

At least for crpg, I've found that archery has one of the highest skill ceilings. People remember getting destroyed by a good archer; they don't remember murdering dozens of them with a single slash.

1. Always take the shot
2. Never apologize
3. If they hit M shoot them again

hahahahahha , so true ^^, but if u really wanna enjoy archery i guess that u need at least 10 gen or something like this , archery is not so impossible as u think, there is a lot of awesome archers in the game =D

I couldn't stop laughing, really^^This is just exactly what I experienced about archery and i never play archer since I know that they are shit. I think the only way to be a successful archer is lvl 34+ but EVEN THEN you dont score a fair amount. In siege you have no chance as archer or xbow to get valour even if you have really nice KDR and help the team a lot. You just get score when you are in the near of melee, no need to be helpful there at all.
I like the score system cause it prevents from teamhitters, but it is just unbelievable unfair at the moment and I say this as 90% of time melee playing.

This is exactly my experience as archer!  I've played 2 gens archer on an alt.

It's like we're brothers, man.  You really understand me.  Archer is frustrating as fuck! (and not that effective)

Archery might seem like it's a lot harder but when you think about how much time you invested in becoming good at melee and compare it to the time you've played as an archer... Very difficult to compare. How good would you be if just started playing melee character for the first time and reached lvl 32?

I have played as an archer for a while on my alt. Retired it from lvl 32 and leveling it up again. I can fully relate to the opening post
