Directional combat? I suggest you people actually read that article. Directional combat in that game is just high, medium and low blows, with some finishers or whatnot thrown in. Nothing akin to M&B combat.
Other than that, looks like a very generic MMO.

lolwut. WoW is a generic MMO. EQ is a generic MMO. RIFT is a generic MMO. AoC, DcU, WH, LOTRO, CoH are generic MMOs. You could even say GW2 is a generic MMO. This sounds nothing like a generic MMO. If anything, it's more aligned with the old school/extinct types like Lineage or Dark Age of Camelot.

Since HTML5, recent versions of popular web browsers allow the developpers to use physical acceleration and render 3D graphics with the help of your graphics chipset.

This game looks very interesting for me too. Every1 here´s talking about diablo3, but im waiting for Game of Thrones and War of the roses!

And for browsergames, i prefer a fast tower defense. But i also liked time2race :-)

wutrly? I think they look awesome. The heavy lannister knight armor looks funny but everything else has great design, especially seeing the new factions in season 2.

Here are some of my own renditions of them for a crappy Warband Mod:
