General / Performance
« on: May 29, 2016, 12:36:47 pm »
So was just wandering, looking at those in game screenshots and the teaser and it seems to be very busy, and large scale. So my question is, what sorta PC is this aimed to be playable? Would my friends without gaming PCs be able to play?

How were the play tests in terms of FPS? We're there any FPS drops etc.

General / Stamina

I was just curious as to how many people like/don't like Stamina. I personally am fine with or without.

General / The dev team
« on: January 31, 2016, 02:17:30 am »
I'd be interested to know who the dev team now consists of, and what each of the members do etc. Just in a vid introducing each member or something. From the most recent dev blog, we saw there was a new guy. It would just be nice to 'meet' everyone.

I was just looking around on Kickstarter and saw a medieval game. There is very little information about the game, but it might be worth a look at. It seems to be a mobile strategy game, not quite sure.

General / Shouldn't combat look more like this?

Sorry I couldn't insert the video for some reason :D

Medieval combat was not based so much around only sword fighting as other medieval games show, but rather it had lots shield bashing, pushing, shoving, kicking etc. In real medieval combat you can only engage one person at a time, any more and you were likely to die, in cRPG for example, a skilled player might be able to kill like 10 noobs with ease, but in real life, any ten people could easily over
over power that person. I'm not sure how the combat could possibly look like that, but it would be cool. Maybe each person could select 3 special moves for their character eg kicking, shield bash, and shove. This is purely my opinion and I know many people will disagree, but to me it would be way better like that. Atleast with permadeath in battles on Epic, people are likely to be cautious, making in more tactical and strategic, not hack and slash everywhere. Maybe holding a key and then doing a directional attack could push the enemy in that direction, that way there's no general shove, but rather, each skill move is completely player controlled, unlike Warband, where a kick is just a kick.

I'd love to see a small teaser trailer sometime in the future so we can get a small idea as to how awesome this games gonna be!

General / Why is the development so secretive.
« on: December 27, 2015, 02:46:04 am »
We get no dates, no gameplay, only paragraphs, which I'm grateful for, but I'm very sure the community would love to see more vids on YouTube of your development. I'm sure Melee: Battlegrounds will be an amazing game, but it's got one problem, it just won't come soon enough. :D.

General / Will combat be physics based?
« on: December 24, 2015, 08:41:20 pm »
Would the combat have really physics when you hit someone's armour? Almost like Kingdom Come: Deliverences combat? It would just feel way more realistic and fun. Also is it going to be sort of similar to the sword controls in their earlier idea of M:BG?

General / Price of the end game?

I was just wandering what the price of the end game will be, and whether it is going to be available via steam.
