How do i get renown and what is needed for?

When you have some more posts in the forum, + and - buttons will appear next to posts. People can use these to show how they feel about a certain post (upvote circlejerk, downvote hate frenzy, you agree/disagree with the contents of the post, etc).
+'s increase your renown, and -'s your infamy.
They serve to measure our e-peen, and in certain cases they become lightsabers.

Not sure what kind of renown you mean, but if the forum renown/infamy, read the up-post.

If the renown in strategus; you get it for fighting battles with equipment, the more worth, the more renown. Also for buying goods/equipment or holding fiefs I think, dunno.

Shows the most renowned players in strategus, not like it has any sense tho. Despite that, it has no other function.
