HELLO LOYAL SUBJECTS OF THE PEOPLE'S REPUBLIC OF YOSHI.

REPORTS OF INFRINGEMENT OF YOSHI RIGHTS IN NEW YARAGAR HAS REACHED YOSHI HIGH COMMAND.
WE HAVE HEARD THE PEOPLE'S CRY FOR HELP AND WILL NOT SIT IDLY BY WHILE THIS INJUSTICE OCCURS.
FOR TOO LONG ACRE HAS ABUSED YOSHIKIND AND FACED NO PUNISHMENT. IN THE INTEREST OF ALL WORKING CLASS PEOPLE,
THE PEOPLE'S REPUBLIC OF YOSHI IS FORMALLY DECLARING WAR ON THE KINGDOM OF ACRE. GLORY TO YOSHI.

The lizard blud is technically still red, its just dyed green from the large amount of bilivedin.

They say we also have bilivedin in our bile but if we had concentrations at levels like that lizard it would be lethal.  Maybe one day genetically engineering humans will be legal and we could get green blood too.
