Nah saying friend in chat is stupid. Most games have a mute function for that. I've gotten admin messages from WoW for saying "grow some balls" and having it be sexual harassment.

My point was solely to heskey who said that sugar only says friend on an internet game and not in real life :)

I'm with you lads on this even if we are in the minority. Which we are. Words can hurt. I've been called a sand friend enough times to know this!

I used to be a proponent of all admins should do is mute people for this crap not ban but they seem to want to keep pushing the envelope and poke stingrays with sticks aka Steve Irwin style (rip) so I say ban them for a week mute them on the forum and hope they don't return.

Personally I just mute people but the issue is that 99% of the time players like Assington just leave the server and rejoin to avoid the mute which makes it pointless

Yeah, there is a lot of drama over something that will be fixed by mutes that stick. Only thing that sticks now is a ban so that is all that is available. New mutes should be implemented ASAP.
