So I stumbled upon this game called Eco. It looks a lot like Minecraft but you actually have an effect on your world. You have to think about the animals, the nature etc, everything you do effects the environment. It'd be really cool to setup a server for the cRPG community.

Axeman and I would most likely play on one. The chevaliers had one going for a long time. Minecraft is pretty fun

I'd be up for a minecraft server, Shogunate used to have one i believe, but i think it ended up with everyone TNT'ing eachother.

Whoever is in charge of a minecraft server must always backup the server. To lose everything is akin to being retarded. I play on a server with some RL buds and the operator always keeps the server saved even if we decide to take it down and not play for months. Then when we want to bring it back it is easy.

I did this with the server me and my brother were playing on a few years ago, both on pirated versions of MC ofcourse. I was the only one who backed it up but I forgot to transfer it to a usb before I reformatted my computer, lost weeks of work, really sad. What ultimately made both of us stop playing, and we only played on creative mode.

I heard about this game year(s) ago, I recently googled it expecting it to be out by now the fact that its not makes me wonder if dev is dying. ? dunno tho.

never played minecraft more than a couple hours but I study ecology so I find that aspect very interesting even if its aimed at kids.

I played this kinda awful but kinda magnificent and completely unique starwars game as a kid where you build and manage ecosystems, and get hassled by jarjarbinks on the reg
