is my hunger games map going to be added in this patch?
We're all nerds here, so it doesn't really matter.

loud thinking: My main concern with the patch is if the changes are really big enough for new players to stay. They still will get stomped by us in the beginning (can't change that, I guess) and the time needed for 1 generation is only slightly shortened (compared to now: about 1 million xp less for the first retirement and 700000 less after that). Also most of us will have lvl 37-36 characters instantly with the release. If I as a new player would see that - 100 million xp to catch up with that guys, how many hours to play? - no high motivation even if it's only two levels.

On the other hand 1-2 levels from 35 isn't really that much while at the same time keeping a goal for those playing longer. Maybe it will work, I'm really curious about that starter kit.

also xp income system will stay? no experiment on this front?

There is a good way to balance this leveling system in my opinion.
Current level system is too narrow. lots of players are in the same (top) level. Because of level range between 0 ~ 36  skill point distributions are usually same.

In my opinion, to give players more freedom about builds, maximum level should be set up to 80 and for the maximum level 80, player have to gain like 1.000.000.000(reachable) experience and necessary experience points between levels should not be too much.

Also with this new level range, whole item restriction system have to be set up again for all items. There should be priceless new armours and weapons for level 70 ~ 80 players for each class.
When the player reached new level should be able to choose and use new and better items for his special build and class, not only visually different another armour with almost same protection level.
Whole damage and protection system should be set up for this new 80 level system with new damages and health points. With this new level system all skill points range might be set up between 1 to 25

This system gonna make the crpg more fun, challenging and rewarding imo.

Just a crazy suggestion :)

Sounds weird tbh. Small question: In case you reward the level less than now, why increasing the levels so much? Level 80 is a bit high in my opinion, I think 50 would already work out with your suggestion (theoretically)

Could be set to 50 but more levels equals to more different builds and players imo.

Lvl 80 lol you must be trolling. The point is to make it easier for new players, hence the xp requirement decrease for each level and a tighter gap between the retirement level and sperglord xp grinders (only 1-2 lvls gap, lvl 36 reachable, 37 hard, 38 insane, 39 impossible). Imagine the gap between a new player and a lvl 80

Youre right Umbra. But difference between 36 37 38 is almost nothing. So what is the point of trying to reach high levels ? I understand being high level should not be the first priority to have fun from game, but some players just play for that challenge. Yes it is gonna make easier to reach playable levels but also will kill new level excitement. And if leveling is nothing then lets make all chars like skip the fun and remove the experience gain system, because almost no difference between 36 37 38 and 39 levels.

Finally i am not saying it must be 80 i mean more levels equals to more flexibility for builds. Also this suggestion is not about Revival patch. I like the Revival patch but imo crpg needs more levels.

It's not a challenge to be high level, it just means you have more free time than everyone else. If you wanted a challenge surely you'd relish the chance to fight more high-level builds.

Too many levels would be difficult to implement currently as i believe 15 is the current cap on skills, but i'll use my free respec to test this and see if 16 is possible within game mechanics.

I totally agree about free time thing.
If i can have 35 level stf directly and if i can respec this build whenever i want, what is the point of leveling another char for 3 more stat point and 6 more skill point ?
For example from 21 21 build to 24 21 build i need to play like 2 years to reach this build and not worthy(or rewarding) difference between them.

I think it's questionable if all those upcoming 9PS Ninja-speed cookie cutter builds are newb-friendly.

Yes but a lvl 25 start and only 7 mills till lvl 35, and no to mention only 1-2 lvls difference in end builds vs retirement builds means that newbs will feel less powerless, and spend min time as completely useless fodder
