People should eat more insects. Deep fried crickets are a treat.  :)

I find this easy to masturbate to...
Tseng: Used to the bitter taste of refusal, this only serves to reinforce his greatest life lession yet.
Cloud: And that is?
Tseng: Bitches, man.

Hmm.. So what's the point of eating all that stuff?..

I doubt these insects and fetus-eggs are cheaper, than, let's say, some bread and a glass of milk? Do they taste good?.. Like REALLY good? Any special kind of nutrition that you can't get from eating other products or vitamin pills?

It's not like they live longer in China, compared to some other countries. If they could 100% guarantee me a quality life to 120 years - I might consider eating raw toads and cucumber sized larvae on a stick... But this is just ridiculous. Have to watch some more related material!

Any good links to a good documentary on Asia's eating habits?

Damn i felt bad for them toads :( I just ate some pork leftovers from yesterday's dinner, but I didn't feel bad about it, since i didn't have to watch that pig die... He could at least rip them toads inside-out behind a counter or something, damn savages :)

Neah... I like China, and have great respect for their recent achievements, and food-culture is just a part of a bigger picture, but that's nasty! Poor toads... R.I.P.

We eat shrimp, lobster is a delicacy, but apparently scorpions are gross.
We eat toad legs, but full toads are gross.
We eat chicken periods if they are unfertilized, we eat them once they are born, but if they are fertilized they are gross.
We are so goddamn different, and superior...
If I ever travel there, I would like to eat some of those things. I do not know if I would enjoy it, but I would want to try it.

Pretty sure they think the same about stuff we tend to eat.

Doesn't change the fact that I think it's disgusting tho... :)

Eating eggs and shrimps is extremly common everywhere. Okay, toad legs not so much.

Have a friend living in Shanghai, asked him the exact sam question.

The answer I got is, dude they are a huge country with shitloadds of people, different regions and customs there isn't a thing the don't eat or used to eat and prepare.

Guess you eat anything to survive regardles it's nutrition value and taste and after a while it turns into a delicacy.

Why do they eat rotten sharks in Iceland or duck fetuses in Thailand
And now he can't play because of "common sense" and he doesn't understand how this common sense works

I heard once that the Chinese think eating big lumps of meat like steak is weird. Just different attitudes to food.

If anything it's a good attitude and we should learn to eat those things. That would mean less waste due to people having not having fussy attitudes to food.

No, they don't...

It was on a show with a Chinese chef in China. Apparently the reasoning was that in much of China, when they cook meat it is in very small slim slices.
