Any real wars going on at EU?

Well Grey Order and Druzhina have stopped to play strat, well they do some defences but they really dont play it, was thinking are there any real wars going on? Had hopes up that Imperiale and Shu Han would start to fight against Barabes and Apostates when i read Butan's great stories, but in the end they made peace before any real war.

Of course not, Grey and DRZ were the only factions who made the EU side interesting, despite everyone whining about them nonstop.  Now that their interest has mostly died down along with most of their allies, Strategus 4.0 is dead on the EU side of the map.  That's what everyone wanted after all.. right?

The mopping up process takes a long time when people who have 'quit' continue to produce armies field full rosters etc. Its no different than what's happened before.

People are not dumb enough go push other agendas when they still have the potential to return.

Ignoring that EU is like it is due to Grey and DRZ's playstyle. The boring, simplistic alliance fest was caused by DRZ and Grey and their alliance fest. Now that they are 'soon' to be gone from the map, we might actually see wars that are more interesting than East vs West.

Atleast that is what I hope, I have been signing for Grey Order to prolong their survival so I will atleast be sure that there will be big battles every day. I think I have heard about them planning this, but I beg the eastern side to split up their alliances into more sizeable chunks so that we can have some proper Strategus for the first time since Strat 1.

It's all up to the Eastern Block after UIF is dead. It's their choice whether they want to be the new UIF or they'll actually split up all the mega alliances.

Ours is an alliance of necessity, nothing more. Once those who have been in alliance since strat 1 are gone our alliance will not be necessary. I know that my faction will see  this through to the end.

All the Anti-UIF factions have wanted to fight each other for a long time, but whats the point when UIF will comme sweeping in with one big alliance, i assure you it would be a lot different if there was no UIF

Don't worry about it, half of the UIF went inactive anyway, is DRZ and Grey Order turtling a that big threat to unite every single other faction in strat together?

You wouldn't stand a chance if UIF were as active as they were before. Better organization outside of battles, better rosters and better tactics in battles. I've played for both and I preferred fighting for the UiF, by far.

Even though I truly detest the way UIF behaved in Strategus and I think they have ruined Strategus since Strategus 2, I must say Grey Order and Druzhina are in fact very good at it. Their Soviet min/maxing warmachine is in no way fun and lame as fuck, but it is ruthlessly effective. This victory over UIF will not be yielding you any bragging rights, just so you know. Another thing I respect about Druzhina and Grey Order, they are not all that braggish, luckily their Risen and BashiBazouk allies excelled in that.

Organisation is much easier when you multi account.

Noone denies the talented players in their rosters, but its a shame the way they conducted themselves on strat. Also the weight of numbers has been in the UIFs favour every round until this gurnison, many factions fought their own ways to success in these rounds.

This talk is pointless anyway, just wait and see.
