Issue with the patcher and clan banners

I am trying to get crpg up and running on my laptop and I am having an error occur when the patcher tries to download the clan banners. I am using wifi but it has been stable enough for steam and amazon downloads.

Here is the error message from the log:
[20:07:15] Downloading version info
[20:07:15] Downloading custom banners
[20:07:36] Unable to connect to the remote server
[20:07:36] A connection attempt failed because the connected party did not properly respond after a period of time, or established connection failed because connected host has failed to respond 83.169.2.72:80
[20:07:36] Update failed

Im having the same problem.. just started happening about a week ago or so ( a little after wse was implemented ).  Did u get this fixed or have any advice to help me out somebody anybody?
