Hey, thanks for posting this one! I hadn't yet heard it!
Elliott Smith was so talented. Quite a shame he's not around anymore to keep making music.
I'd have loved to hear how his style might change over another decade and beyond.

From the new bloodborne DLC, to truly enjoy this glorious OST you kind of have to see the transition of the beast from 1st phase with an almost seemless transition of music during the cutscene to the 2nd phase. It does hold steady on its own too, though.

Posted this last year around Thanksgiving time, posting it again. My parents played this on the stereo each year at Thanksgiving and their parents played it (on vinyl!!!) every year at Thanksgiving when they were kids. It's a song about an incident that happened on Thanksgiving Day, but it isn't really about Thanksgiving. Or Alice's Restaurant. It's a war protest song. We listen to it every year. It puts me into the holiday mood just like Christmas music gets me all excited for Christmas. I'll be playing it tomorrow while I bake bread and make cranberry sauce and sweet potato pie. We're hosting at our apartment this yeah and I'm excited!!
