Check it.

Alright this is maybe a long awlpike. But short one is not that short comparing to other spears, so it makes other shield+pike combinations unusable. Despite the longer one is 2handed, shorter one has +1 more damage. Maybe it's for balancing the things idk.

The in-game awlpike is the length & weight of a spear still usable with one hand in underhand grip.
