Beginner's Help and Guides / 2 Hander cavalry - Weapon of choice
« on: April 10, 2014, 09:35:27 am »
I might play with an alternative character as 2hander cavalry. I was thinking of using Lon iron mace at first, but then I saw Persian Battle Axe with 49 cut damage

I can get a +3 weapon, so it's 35 blunt versus 52 cut.

What are your thoughts on it. What kind of weapons would be better for 2hand cavalry nowadays? Those 2 seemed particularly good to me.

and you were among them as anti-mage. You should be proud.

Beginner's Help and Guides / Re: Favorite Weapons Thread!

Two Handed: German Greatsword, the most solid and probably the best.
One handed: Knightly arming Sword, a sword that suits for any task!
Crossbow: Crossbow, oh how I loved this weapon!
Bow: Yumi, the best bow for a Horse Archer who can use it.
Horse: Destrier has grown to be my favourite, durable enough to stand alive while it offers good manuever and movement. The best for offensive horseman. Not expensive too.
Polearm: A good old Red tassel spear is your best friend against cavalry, especially with a shield.
Throwing: Darts, take 3 stacks of these and you're basically an archer with a great movement and attack speed.
Shield: Huscarl Shield, the best shield for battle. It has the best coverage and a very good durability, what more shielder can ask for?

Those were designed to be lithuanian helmets, if I'm not mistaken.

Taking an arrow in the knee, priceless.

At least if I'm cav, I can ignore my teammates. As infantry, I'm forced to fight 8v1 or something.
It's not like that really, if your class depends on backstabbing distracted people.

Get it and put the shield on your back?

But I already bought it. Spencki you lazy ass, update the banner already!
