I bet it would not be super difficult to make a pair of glasses that invert the colors of everything you are looking at
Sometimes leaks are false. It'd be suicide for them to basically remove mods, it'd spark a massive shitstorm and pretty much kill both their reputation and their Fallout Franchise; so I'd rate this as unlikely to happen.
For those who haven't seen it yet :
