And a happy new year. Also the remember that the feasting and drinking parts come from nordic traditions dating back to the viking age. Drink plenty and eat lots of pork. Christian parts are optional boredom that infected an otherwise perfect tradition!

Bloodborne 2 would be the first thing that comes to mind, but it would be unfortunate if true. It looks like some prosthetic limb, with the wire being a tendon etc. Some say its a tenchu game, others say Shadow Tower. Speculation city going right now, i just hope its something fresh.

yay
Might as well make a thread for it, recommend/post purchases etc.

Picked up some indie titles ive been slightly interested in: Ori and the blind forest, Hyper Light Drifter, Hollow Knight.

Anyone else tried this game? Played it with Georges and Belmont and had a lot of fun. Basically multiple servers with persistent maps of war going on. And quite a lot of fun options of buildings, vehicles and weapons to work with. A bit grindy if you are doing supply runs, but some may enjoy such duties like we did. Lots of fun voice comms going on, like getting into a town with a bunch of guns and people cheering us with redneck accents. Gun damage is very high, about 2 shots from a rifle puts you down completely and then youve got like 15 seconds untill completely dead, otherwise 1 bullet bleeds you out without bandages etc. Seems like you can put up some pretty cool defences so long as you got a group to work with, and people were very eager to do supply runs when we played. The general combat is fun, you cant see far unless youve got binoculars, and night time sometimes covers even more vision so you gotta either listen for voices in game or for gunfire to find your way forward.

Pre-alpha supposedly, but it has a lot of potential content in it to enjoy, depending on how you vary your playstyle. Will keep an eye on this at least, even though i dont enjoy unfinished games it didnt feel crippled at all. Very slow game though, youll die quickly when caught out, and it can be a long run unless you catch a ride with some transports.

Spooky shit, if you got windows 10 you should be fine, but blocking port 445 is recommended apparently. Older OS unpatched can all be infected. Seems to be speculated that its spread from north korea.

About 2 weeks left, anyone else hyped? Been waiting for god knows how long now, and its finally so close. Will probably get on both PC and PS4, but i think ill mainly play on PC. Its about time figthing games got a new solid 3d fighter, and its got so many things to make it hype for spectators as well as the players. It has really got potential to be fantastic.

Heres a solid video for you stoners in the mess that crpg became, and still to this day people will think that nerfs helped crpg. Its kind of depressing that one of my favourite games turned out this way, but has become a prime example for me to use for arguing balancing in any other game. Even in the comments on the video you will see people defending the idea of nerfing.
I wish i had the same knowledge back in early crpg as i do know so that i could feriociously argue against all the nerf threads, but i was but a wee little lad then who played only the game and not the forum.

I want that Adapt shirt, but a Get a Shield version.

Anyone tried this game yet? Beta codes going out if you sign up for them, and i just got mine so im installing atm. Lots of hate that it has changed the formula slightly by adding classes, but people dont realise that the old game has died out and that they need to change things up. Seems like strafe jumping and rocket jumping are still there, so the core movement mechanics is probably similar if not the same.

Im so damn lazy and unmotivated to do anything atm, getting myself to play a video game for an hour feels like a productive accomplishment because i even struggle to do that. I just watch trash on youtube/twitch or sleep all day. Anyone been through similar? I get a workout when at my job, so i really cba going to the gym.

Anyone got this game? Its a boss-rush, bullet-hell game with melee parrying and dodging. It seems really good and im definitely picking it up soon. Something about it gives me hints of Afro Samurai, which is odd but i like it.

The music is made by Carpenter Brut, who also made a couple of songs for hotline miami i believe. Synthwave music combined with the pink/purple 80s colorscheme is so sick, just like Farcry Blood Dragon. Its very anime/wallscroll-ey, but to a point where its cheesy in a good way.

The whole concept of Boss-rush games intrigues me, as long as its well made so that its difficult enough to last a good chunk of time, while also packing a good amount of boss content.

Theyve ditched the complete ass tier style they had in 5&6, and has gone with something very similar to the P.T game we saw recently, horror puzzles in first person, supposedly there will be weapons as well. There are devs from P.T working on it from what ive heard, so that explains why its so similar. Now im not really much for horror games, im too paranoid. But im glad they took a better turn with their game. I liked 1 and the games of that style, i wish they made another like that, but ill enjoy watching streams of 7 from the looks of it.

A demo is out on ps4 (only?) that has multiple endings, with a bunch of hidden things to find in order to get the best ending, and its really spooky.

This can be a pretty massive gamechanger when it happens, generally does the first round of the map but i believe ive seen it happen later rounds too. Is there no way to fix this? Feels like such an important gameplay element, but when its unreliable its pretty frustrating aswell.
