I would like the NA map to just be what the EU desert is currently. That amount of fiefs with that spread on flat land without mountains.

"THats is a long story.."
It was monday on the day of a the14th monday of septmber. Guiseppe was a boy in servce of the Assassin LEader Alluiyam, he baought giuseppe(me) and took to the castle Masyaf to train with him to become a killer to kill alluiyams enemy. I had will train for 2 years but was still only know as being good with a sword but not grreat. The assanin leader Allyiuiam said to me "Gisuppe you are you are n olonger my slave. seek out the wizzard Alandin and u will allow to come bakc he said.
Atfer 4 day of travel i stop and restedat the vilage of Barbadof were i saw a fight happening adn i watched.
A man wiht a long beard aroun dhis neck stabbeded 2 men and then he stabbed them and asked me why i didnt help his fitgh
"thewise w8 for the wniners and bring words, before they BRing out swords"
Silvio(hes name) knodded and jonined me on my journey to find the ziward alanddin.

Quick question here, how is a battle at 5pm EST a bad time? I know from your grammar and such you must be 13 at most most, do you have a mariachi band meeting or something?
5pm EST is a bad battle time. Most Americans won't be able to make that, east or west coast.

« on: March 30, 2016, 02:38:17 am »If you have gear and you successfully defend a fief be it a village or a castle you loot nothing from the attackers however you keep all of your gear as it was before the battle.
Yep, another game breakingly bad bug in this round of Strategus.

« on: March 28, 2016, 09:20:11 pm »Sort of, I mean, he was never voted on as per our old way of doing things when we were an active faction, nor was whoever Minnow is, but when I came back and assumed ownership of the faction from the inactive hands of the crone and Gafferjack, I made all the old members Rank 10 and decided to just accept any and all applicants- after purging all the old requests that had been there for years- so that whoever wanted to could get use out of many unused heirlooms languishing in the CHOPAS armory. I'll accept anyone who applies, though it was Canary who accepted that rogue and OG Bridgeburner who earned his tags Saxton.

« on: March 28, 2016, 08:11:28 pm »I dont even know if I will be allowed/can modify the "strategus battles" themselves. But lowering the max mercs per battle to a sweepoint between 1/ battles are still large enough to be interesting and 2/ dont need to suck up people to have a full roster is an idea in the making.
I am interested to hear everyone's opinion on modifying max_merc_per_battles, just in case. What would be the good value between 50 and 1 ?
How about a setting for each individual player, like night time except it sets the max amount of mercs per side in battles, with a minimum of say 30 because less than that is pretty bad. Battle merc count would be based on whichever player had the lower setting, not who is defending.

It's good that someone who enjoys Strategus is now able to work on it, and this addon is cool and would definitely benefit to be already in by default. I would suggest that if you are able to make changes to Strategus at more than a UI level, that you try not to add any more mechanics unless you are sure they would be good, and instead maybe focus on simplifying or refining the ones already in the game with the end goal of creating more battles. Most people I know who quit Strategus over the versions did it because of the increasing level of tedium and need to be active on the map for low reward.
Any change is probably for the better at this point though so good luck with whatever is done.
