The polearm is just for lancing and anti-cav purposes, and for when I occasionally pick up a strong polearm and decide to give it a swing.

I'm planning on taking quite some armour (cos that armour looks stylish) and I'm wanting at least ~100 effective 1h prof with the heaviest armour I'll ever wear.

I'm going to be primarily a 1h'er though, especially on foot. To be a decent 1h'er you need good wpf to do good damage and have a nice speed.
