He muted the first two people who started that. I was in the TS at the time, and he was actively discouraging people (myself as well) from saying stupid shit. The person that for some reason vaguely sounds like him in that video encouraging people is not Artyem, but that guy named Chicken.

From what I can tell Artyem gave up on the whole thing after desire started handing out month+ bans for people saying a bad word, and he only said the word when someone asked what word was getting everyone banned. Which, while purposeful, was also just answering a question.

Even if it wasn't Artyem encouraging people to bandwagon (highly doubtful but say he didn't), it still speaks volumes of his inability to make a decision or judgement on the situation. All this while under pseudonym which if memory serves should be harsher of a sentence. Now I don't want it to seem like it was all Artyem fault because he didn't force anyone to do anything. A lot of people were in the wrong but Admins should be held to a higher standard. ALL ADMINS. We were all there. I didn't see Artyem mute anyone. maybe afterwards but that would of been to save face after the fact.

I really hope the top Admins look at the logs and figure this mess out and show that the inability to admin while witnessing all that was going on is just as bad or worst as the TROLO Crew chat riot.

BTW all of it seems funny to me and I hate everyone equally. I'm on no one's side.

I mean arty, who had started by muting people who were saying it, before Desire hijacked the whole thing and turned it into a massive debacle, and then went back and retroactively banned 11 more people for saying the word. Seriously, if people saying words is against the rules, stop them from saying words with a mute, and if they dodge the mute, ban them for mute dodging. It's that friggin' simple.

I guess your memory is a little foggy of the whole situation. You show symptoms of being triggered by PTSD. I know the signs brother.

Sorry to disappoint but Arty wasn't handling shit. I just saw the video last night and was not at all surprised Arty was involved in all this, on the wrong side I might add. I understand if you have personal feelings involved but you should step back and look at this matter impartial and unemotional.

I'd go into detail about how incredibly dumb you are to think that's the only reason for this whole ordeal, but if literally dozens of people drilling common sense can't get through your thick skull I'm positive that one more surely won't.

That having been said, I'm now going to sit here and explain to you how stupid you are, while you continue to ignore me and call me racist as some form of catch-all.

Now, the whole tirade of untargeted "mean words" let us call them started because desire started threatening to ban people for longer and longer times, when an admin was already handling the situation, I myself was initially banned for 90 days because I said a "bad word". Now, it is fairly obvious that the original bans were intended to actually be that long. However, Desire, realizing her own mental suppression, no doubt when confronted by others with the same or more admin power than her, decided that these ban times were "Obviously" just a bluff (even as they had already happened), and proceeded to reduce those ban times to one week. Then, when everyone expressed how immensely flabbergasting it was to ban someone for even a week, for saying a word, it was reduced to two days.

The point is not that we were defending racism, we were simply perplexed that a problem, in chat, could not be resolved with mutes, rather than 90 day bans. Especially when, what you call racism, was merely a word being said completely out of any context, with nobody actually being the target of it. Except for the one guy that actually called someone said word and told them to go kill themselves, and he didn't even get a ban.

Please stop hijacking our roleplaying thread. It's very serious, you see. Also your talk of melodrama is spreading melodrama, how dare you sir. How very gosh darn dang you.

Which admin exactly? I assume we were all at the same Strat battle yes? I assume we all read the same chat, we all saw the same Tristan's video. So which admin exactly was handling any situation besides Desire? You mean the one's joining in the bandwagon? or the one's that were trying to handle it afterwards?

I for one welcome the check and balances from our EU forefathers into NA. Obviously there has to be dramatic changes in order to for the very least keep the few players active in NA as well as uphold the integrity of the mod. After all, we do want a active player base but we also can't have a few members thinking they are exempt.

I really hope there is a regime change in NA admin team. Between Sparvico racist tantrum (composure of a champ), Arytem ability not do anything and in fact support the rule breaking by said none action (it's OK if his his buddies he's in TS with) and Desire's ban happy antics. They all have to go.

Just saw the video for first time. It's shows a lot about Arytem's character to actually not do anything to stop this. He was in TS and was part of the problem lol.

Dupre isn't off either. All this happen under his management.

And thats exactly how i see the admin role.
Take and be in control when players break rules, and enforce the rules with the tools and maturity you should have.

A ban is not the way to solve things, a ban is realy the admins panic button, when an admin feels he lost control and tried everything else.

I guess you miss the racial temper tantrum this guy displayed when something didn't go his way. Instead of showing the maturity to holding his composure.

This guy isn't fit to admin, but at the very least keep this guy contained to this community and don't let him spread like a virus.

To be crystal clear. I have no idea which admins got caught in the ban. I cannot keep up with pseudonym and who the new admins are. I just believe all admins should be held to a higher standard. I call for a complete regime change in NA.

1+ month later and you're still salty over a 1 week ban over something that has resulted in perma bans in the past.

Really, all I've gathered from this thread is:

1. Desire doesn't care what people think
2. you don't actually know what happened lol
3. Sparvico is farming +1s

Strictly a time reference to put how unmanned the situation really was. Salty? No, sorry Arytem. That evil spirit has been exercised out of my virtual body. The boys over this 2 day ban though. You might want have a pep talk with them. Or send them my way. I'll give them an old man rant on how corrupt admins really are. Just buy me a beer. Admins cause 9/11, death of Santa and einstein.

And here we have the standards without a brain and common sense. If we had a bot dishing out automatic bans for every time someone broke a rule every server would be completely empty. We need admins with common sense who know it's not worth it to mass ban the entire server population over a stupid trolling incident, which Desire admitted he wanted to do and reluctantly shortened the bans. He even admits he doesn't care if the mod dies because it will die to his standard. Clearly he didn't even try to mute players, lied about it being too difficult and banned another admin ( the head admin) who was willing to go through the extra effort of muting everyone for the sake of having fun at a strat battle.

For reference, Arytem banned me in under 10 minutes of a ban thread being post. Hard to digest that the admins involved were de-escalating  anything. Warning were issued, time went on and those admins still chose to break the rules. No one forced them. They made a conscious decision.

Same rules apply to everyone, not just 1. Common sense was not used by the other admins as well.

Like you said it takes ALOT to get rid of an admin if it's even possible at all, here you have an admin that is impeding other admins from doing their job and is directly destroying the population of the server. Not even other admins like him. If getting rid of Desire solves the problem then we are fine, If problems persist more change would be welcome.

I don't think anyone agrees with the behavior of the community, but he also antagonized them in admin chat and undermined other admins who were trying to mass mute for the good of the server, not to prove a point by using excessive admin powers given the situation, because after all it's a game, a multiplayer game that needs players.

Admins should be held to a higher standard, that is why they are admins in he first place. The foresight and maturity to make sound judgements. In my eyes, none of them are fit. If Desire goes, so should the other admins involved.

I've been playing a while now and I've never seen anything as ridiculous as a 19 player ban that included a head admin. What is the point of a hierarchy if you have admins like this? I don't see a reason for any other admins to step down because I don't see them mass banning and destroying the community. This would be the equivalent of firing live ammo into a crowd of mental retards and then shooting the police who wanted to use rubber bullets.

  When you have one rogue admin who thinks they are above the rest you have a problem, the rest of the admins seem to consult and work together for the better of the community, with a rogue admin it undermines all their work and patience, and i'm sure it takes alot of patience with a community like this.

Using your own analogy, some of those same special handicap people are the the police as well. The admins in the ban are much at fault as everyone else involved. I agree with a lot of your points but you fall short. Go one step further and that is where I stand. Admins should know better wouldn't you say? None of them are fit to admin. Get rid of them all involved.

So the admins who were trying to mute instead of banning for chat infractions handled it poorly? What's the point of having a head admin if another admin contradicts what they're trying to do and even bans them? We need sane admins who care about the community and its health no matter how mentally retarded the community is, not admins who don't care if the mod dies.

Situation was going on for a while. Obvious it wasn't being taken care of. Which admins were trying mute anyone or control the situation? The ones spouting racist comments or the ones that weren't even there?

Like I said, they are all unfit. When something doesn't work, tear it down and start over.
