Siege servers can't handle all those players. Combat is not only clunky like in other copycat games but also very very unresponsive. Class system in MP wasn't something anyone ever asked for, it is bullshit and terribly balanced amongst factions. Can the game improve, will the game improve? I think yes, since that's what companies do, they hide behind EA to cover for their shitty launch. But 8 fucking years of work and we get this shit splinter as the end result? I dunno how much it will change from this.

And SP doesn't really have a feature that you couldn't have in Warband with mods. It crashes and gets constantly patched, so kinda impossible to keep up with bugfixes and improvements and have a nice save going on at the same time.

And yet, the game has %88 Steam rating. Bloody casuals.

I am disappointed that the game really lost it's soul compared to warband. The combat and engine are much tighter than bannerlord, but we shall see hopefully they get enough complaints to make it what it should be. I didn't think the multiplayer was going to be so gimp, like honestly in 5 minutes I could rebuild their multiplayer to be 100x better.

Like wtf who has a deathmatch server that spawns players all over the place? I thought that was just for combat testing but this is what they rolled out with?

Honestly bannerlord has it's challenges with the combat but it has improved a lot during the beta, and they did listen to the community feedback and implemented stuff as it was going.

When I first got the beta invite and tried it (I was part of the first wave) the combat was a joke, with shields blocking in 360 degrees around the character, bizarre hit boxes, double swings, terrible class options, etc etc.

Anyways, ultimately I have some faith the game will improve overall still as time goes on.

So a deal is a deal, where is the best place to send a donation?

So is cRPG going to do a Bannerlord mod? It appears mods will be a thing in Bannerlord, and I can't think of a mod I would like to see more in Bannerlord than cRPG.

Will donate money if answer is yes.

The only problem is that this would ruin any hoplite build as they'd need to drop points in both shield and pole skills. Also, 1h without shield is a pretty decent build so if every other class requires more wasted points, they indirectly get a huge buff. Similar ideas have been bounced around before, I personally prefer just letting all shields be 0 req, but that introduces other issues as well. There isn't really an ideal solution.

It could possibly work is pole used in 1h doesn't do a check on polearm skill, that way you can use polearms in 1h effectively (requiring a shield to do of course) without penalizing hopelite builds.

This way pure 1h is really the only build that doesn't require an additional skill, thus making it ideal for ranged characters.

You guys need to add a Polearm and Two Handed skills to the game, something to put points in like shield for 1h players.

Hybrids should want to use 1h weapons for point efficiency.

What would this new skill do? Maybe make each point allow for an effective cap to wpf, make it equal to how much wpf you would have as a pure build, make it based on agi, and at least that way it could still be used by hybrids for a couple points, and won't really impact strength builds for pole or 2h much.

Just an idea, maybe it's shit

Thanks for the help so far, that link for the launcher is the one I used for updating.

I managed to uninstall warband and reinstall it (it was glitching still so I needed to restart for it to work) afterwards I went to update it and it did the same thing.

It still shows 4.5.4 version on the menu screen in cRPG, and I can find some servers NA1-3 but they are all empty. Are they normally empty at around 7pm EST weekdays?

I currently have version 4.5.4, and the new launcher will not update the client.

Tried:
Repair
Delete cRPG (won't let me even as admin)
Rename cRPG (won't let me as admin)

Can anyone help me out?
