Hello cRPG community. First of all just wanted to say sorry for having to get up and leave. I never intended to take such a long break, but medical issues took over my life and unfortunately had to take a break from everything including my job. Anyway, not here to get sympathy or explain my situation, i'm interested in holding one last event or tournament.
Tournament will be next Saturday, September 24th starting at 5PM (GMT), 10AM(PST), 9PM (TRT).
Tournament times might change and rules will be added through out the week. I'll be adding participants to the lists below, and since the date changed, please repost if you will be participating(sorry!)
Tournament/Events: 1v1 - On NA and EU DTV - 5 player teams - Undecided on server. Will come down to the number of participants. I'll host on both if we have enough.
1v1 Rules: -New character boosted to level 38 - - - DTV Rules: -2 maps, 2 tries. -Point System: -Each enemy wave is +1. -Player death on any wave or round is -1. -Points will be tallied at the end of each map -Team with most points at the end will be declared the winner

Never too late! I'm sure there are some folks out there who would love an OKAM key. I'll still host the event even if there are only 5 people(better chances to win the prize :P).

As much as I like OKAM, it's nowhere near as addicting as cRPG was, at least at this point. Maybe it's because there aren't so many items, different skills, wacky builds, voice commands, recognizable players, clan and forum drama, etc. I'm sure OKAM will grow to be way better than cRPG at its finest, but for now it's just basic, barebones medieval combat game.

Yeah at the moment I agree it's definitely not as addicting, but the game is barebones right now, I imagine once the game has more features it'll be even more addicting than C-RPG. Just gotta be patient and wait for the dev's to wave their magic.

I'm not following development of OKAM. Have they implemented Epic? I think they said first version will come September 1st.

The short of it, at the moment it's half baked.
The long of it, basically they were running on a timer that they set, they realise now that it was a mistake to have done that because it created a lot of stress on the team which ultimately led to them failing the release (Hence the dub "EPIC" fail) they've decided not to set timers on anything now and only set tentative times for things which gives them a lot more freedom to just focus on developing, as opposed to meeting the timer. At the moment EPIC isn't fully released, but you can still look at the map in full and recruit things, nothing other than that currently (From what I last experienced on the EPIC) - either way, the game is shaping up really nice, Skirmish just came out (5v5/10v10) which is looking really fun.
The game definitely isn't without its issues but overall for an EA title I think they're doing spiffy.
