Yeah, I came on 0:46. The AI still seems to clump tho, altough not as bad as in Warband.

The actual breach mechanics look good but the AI still seems as shit as ever. The fighting on the wall looked awful.

Still nice that they added in multiple ways to siege a castle (fucking finally). I can see some mods having a hey day with this game. Aw shit its going to be fun af.

Attacking AI will use that siege equipment too. It looks like there will be a lot of reloading during siege defenses especially. Also, yeah, those old sounds are a huge turn off. I am hoping they are just placeholders at the moment.

Pretty underwhelming as a whole, I mean I fucking love Warband's singleplayer so I will play the shit out of this regardless, but the improvement and polish is not as all-encompassing as I had hoped. Fixing the siege equipment and such is a no-brainer, and it would have been really silly if they would not have managed that. However, I also expected the AI to be significantly improved, but I am hard-pressed to notice any improvement. Mindless clumping, facehugging and rigid routes to the closest enemy, even if its gets them all stuck in a door while looking the other way. It's all still there and it is a huge eyesore, and also makes the gameplay more boring. Fighting animations do not look too great either, not sure if not worse than Warband's.

I get that they still have at least half a year of developing to do, but I am not sure if AI behaviour is one of those things that gets pushed to such a late phase. I do still have hope for a replacement of the old sounds, and that goddamn awful font.

There are things that look better than I expected though. All the animations on the new siege stuff looks good. The bouncing arrows and ballista bolts are cool, and the few turns he did on the horse looked really nice. Rocks that you can chuck down is fucking awesome, I hope that makes it into multiplayer.

Also curious how they find such a crappy player for an official gameplay demonstration, he does not help to make it look any better.

I'm a bit underwhelmed, but the multiplayer aspect looks promising. AI still goes into annoying, impassable clumps when in a fight. Whenever I attacked a castle my number one rule to keep in mind was to make sure I was infront of my men or had a way around them, haha.

ALSO did it annoy anyone else how the guy kept aiming WAY too high with his bow, lol. He also kept healing himself, cheater. Why do they always get the worst players to demonstrate the gameplay mechanics. XD

It's what I expected though, Warband 2.0, which is fine with me. As long as it has the same great experiences Warband has given me. I hope to see you all again in Bannerlord.

Really this. Everything they showed over the years goes in this directions, nothing really new but tons of small improvement. Still could be lots of fun to play, we will find out.

If they really go through with the old sounds, oh my.- :lol:

I really like what I saw. Who wants something different, can play For Honor. I'm not into three meter heroes smashing brainless Assassins Creed AI bots to exchange hits with bosses, presumable controlled by players. If that's your thing, go for it.

Bannerlord and OKAM both look very sweet to me. Prefer Bannerlord combat but OKAM has some great building and strategy parts in pipeline and could be better game overall. Both way better than anything Ubisoft can churn out.

Jup, Bannerlord and OKAM both seem rather nice and appear sofar to do their own thing entirely. What time to be alive. Been waiting so long for decent alternatives to Warband. For Honor will most likely be disappointing to the average M&B player. Its Ubisoft afterall. It releases games made for everybody. And thats exactly the problem with it.

But it M&B so I couldn't care less. I will be buying day 1 regardless.

Pretty much same here. Even if native sucks balls, there will be tons of mods for it. So I'm not worried. I'm sure it'll be fun in native and in the mods that follow.

That's basically all I'd ask for, the biggest improvement being: a new, living population. The release should secure that at least for the first year I'd hope.

Btw, i hope AI will be fixed and wont stuck in the doors (c'mon), and i hope there will be different multiplayer gamemods, specially commander battle mod would be so much fun (like in Napoleonic Wars)

Looks the same game really. Not even counting all the crime , lord AI , crafting etc..

I should think so since they have voice acted dialogue and quests. Propably just placesholders.
