Title: Decrease speed penalty in water based on strength
Post by: Admerius on September 08, 2014, 04:21:24 pm
This will be a strange str buff

For example:

Decrease speed penalty in water by 1% per point of strength.

As everyone should know... moving through water quickly that's deeper than a couple of decimeters (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Decimetre) relies more on strength then agility/speed.

This is an attempt to make heskeytime take a bath!

Innovative, can we just give strength builds a bunch of cool but pointless abilities such as super nudges and Water running (Maybe 5 ft jumps?)

Nerf nudges,
or do an emergency brute force easy fix:  hard cap them at max 3m

5 ft' jumps?

Not a bad idea, might make a second suggestion about Strength increasing jump height/distans på 2%/stregth, and agility decreases animation Action/animation time by 1%/agi.... hmmm

Shouldn't people with AGI swim faster in water though? would be a bit weird if STR whores swim faster than AGI ones.

Right now both swim at the same speed, agi should be faster. just like how agi whores run faster in land, should be the same in water

suggested tweak wouldn't make str faster, just a little bit less slow than Agi.

Optimal (lvl30)swim build would probably be 18/24, or 15/27, instead of 3/42... <--- That's the point.

How many Olympic swimmers are skinny? Not that many, most are atheltic(readd: balanced builds), not overly muscular or gymnast nimble...
