Title: Rome 2 DLC
Post by: Bittersteel on September 02, 2014, 03:08:10 pm
Is there any DLC's actually worth buying? Hannibal and Ceasar campaign's doesn't look extremly interesting if they don't bring in something more then just that, new factions etc since I'm mostly interested in new units and factions but don't have a huge wallet.

I would wait some more. They said that they gonna make a big update to Rome 2 which will include a free campaign.
I got myself just the Blood and Gore DLC plus those Suebi female units... :D

Oh, the emperor edition? It sounds interesting but I'm a little turned off because of the reason that in the big features they added "All updates up to this point" and "All free DLC". Like, what? Oh, well that's generous.

Nah, the Emperor's Edition is for the new buyers. People who already own the game just get the extra goodies.
More of an advertisement thing.

Worth getting Hannibal at the gates on sale tho just to play as Saracuse and those spainish factions imo. Saracuse is one fun campaign.

Can I play campaign DLC factions in the main campaign too or are they locked into the DLC?

Yep they all drop into the grand campaign also. They even have seperate unit trees for the Grand and Stand alone campaigns.

All blood and death animations are under the same 'enable blood' option. Dismemberments are somewhat rare, though.
