Title: [NA] Tears of Destiny

So yea, saw all the Tomek love and decided to expand it to an NA admin. I'm new and I seem to be playing a lot with Tears and I find him/her administration powers to be quite awesome :D

The guide he/she made is also pretty good for new players, I personally took the time to read it and think I became a better player/more respectful player because of it.

Come on guys! Let's show them our love for admins!

Tears is great at watching and listening to admin chat sent from reputable players and getting bad ppl gone.  I dont think I've ever had to repeat myself to him, while other admins I may have to send 3-5 message about a player that is breaking the rules that they dont want to confront.

Good dude (!!!) in game and forums. Only ever had one short period of wild and crazy forum rants, otherwise polite and well informed.

He (!!!) is far as I can tell a good admin in game. Never seen him (!!!) make a bad admin decision or abuse his (!!!) powers.

I have no idea why you were given admin given that your only qualification was "posts all the time", but I'm sure the selection process involved a plastic bag full of paint-thinner and spraypaint.

I proudly claim that all of the above is gloriously true, besides the locking four threads thing. I was not the only one locking threads. I shall also point out that of the 15+ times goatee has been banned, I have not banned him the most nor for the longest times.

As much as we (me/my clan and you) have different point of views on some things and that it can generate some hate, I am happy you took action when a random guy was trolling/kicking/teamwounding me and my clanmates. Once you saw him, it was not long before he got what he deserved and for that I sincerely thank you. You could have ignored me in adminchat but you did not.

Minor complaint... for the most part, a good admin.

When a clan mate(Loki) is running for the last 4 minutes of a strat battle with no weapon I believe this is intentionally delaying. Here is the official rule;

No drawing/delaying the round on purpose (i.e. running away or camping unreachable places when you're one of the last people alive)

This does apply for NA_CRPG_3 as stated in the Official Rules thread. Would be nice if you were to fairly enforce the rules for all players including clan mates.

Overall though, your a great admin, but you tend to look over certain people occasionally when enforcing rules.

Please take this as constructive criticism, you really are a fine admin overall.  :D

In the future, I would probably recommend kicking whomever is doing what loki was doing. IRC is sadly a very unhelpful place for figuring out things that you need to know.

Yeah. In strat battles, most people actually don't wont to kill the last enemy immediately, because they want to loot their weapons. That's the reason, I think, that admins let them "delay" for some time.

a.) You can swipe back, he then screen shots and reports you and on the forums all I see is you swinging at him, and there is zero evidence and witnesses who say otherwise, of which I will ban you because from an objective viewpoint all I see is you picking a fight.
b.) You report him and he gets the stick because from an objective viewpoint all I see is him picking a fight.

Scenario 2:
You later encounter loverboi69 in game, and he has been threatening to get you banned now for quite a few sessions.
a.) You can ignore him. I don't ban anyone because from an objective viewpoint there is zero evidence of anyone violating the rules.
b.) You can decide to now circle him, punch him (sometimes even in the unarmoured face) and grief him for multiple spawns because this seems like a good idea to harass someone who has been publicly stating he wants to get you banned. You get the stick because from an objective viewpoint you are acting like an asshole, especially when coupled with any previous behavior you may or may not have done. You then accuse the admin of favoritism and liking loverboi69 which due to your ridiculous accusations significantly lowers the chance of an appeal passing.(for truly, favoritism is the only reason for being banned, yes?).

I hope this will provide insight for the public to avoid being banned by me, and seeing how my brain works. For me, I would prefer players to choose Outcome B in Scenario 1, and Outcome A for Scenario 2.
