This is from what I know. I may be wrong but:

1. double the base damage if the weapon has the shield bonus
2. calculate damage reduction from armor using shield's resistance as armor
3. multiply damage by (1 - 0.08*s) where s is the shield skill of the shield bearer (ie 8% damage reduction for each point in shield skill)

What I may be telling wrong is the order of these things. They all should happen, but they could definitely happen in some other order.

Also, I found a nasty bug in the calculation of melee damage. If you chose the calculation for the battle with a shield, the calculations were not correct.
Now all the bugs are fixed and everything works fine. :)

Began to make calculator melee damage.
It turns out nice. You can see it in the same place where the basic calculator.
However I cannot find the correct calculation of damages for the shield, given the weapons against him.

Added some feature: "Clone Plan" and "max" for selects max level weapon proficiencies.
And now if you move to Archer calc, parameters auto set by current (Strength, Power Draw и Archery) in sliders.
Everything happens very convenient.

well no, it can be fixed by lowering the values in the (wpf < #) by 1. the reason for this change is that wpf actually starts at 1 in every weapon skill, while the function assumes it starts at 0.
All the conditions are correct and there is no need to correct them. But this post gave me an idea where to find the error. Thank you.

My only suggested tweak is to allow a space to enter a set number, much like the default calculator.  If I know that I want to have 24 strength for example I'd prefer entering it in, not messing with a slider.
Done, double click in number of Level, Ironflash ... and change manualy the number

Looking good (although I'd appreciate if you credited me when you directly copy my code :p). Lovely new usability features, the sliders work great.

Make a thread similar to mine that collects your calculators under one thread and I'll sticky it to this section.

one problem: you are using his old wpf values, the ones that do not account for numbers starting at 0 rather than 1, so putting my build into this results in having more wpp than i should

Looks nice, one suggestion, allow more than 1750 as the experience gained per minute
You need set the exp per minute in x1
For example, "Time:   00:12-01:03," is if you have x5 you get a new level after 12 minutes, but if you have x1 it takes 1 hour and 3 minutes  :wink:

Very cool, I love the armor value slider that displays the actual armor that matches the value.

If you can and want to, you could make it a jQuery module like the stuff my calc uses. I could then give you contributor access to the calculator repository so you could update it there. It would then make it it's way to the production calculator site. Unless you prefer having your own calculator of course.
Why not? I do not mind. But I've never worked with the repositories, I have to learn how to do it.  :oops:
