Banable or not ?

i start to get bored of those monkey roof.

so i want to know if camping this kind of roof are unreachable place or not ?
if it's allowed or not ?
there is no stairs, no ladders and im pretty sure than str build cant go on it...
especialy when you have to do some tricky jump till you get shot by those monkey roof...
sry if it's wrong section but things have to be clear...

to me no ladder or no stairs = unreachable
or when the map maker havent made the spot on purpose...
and it's giving them a huge advantage.
especialy when you have to do some tricky jump till you get shot by those monkey roof...

To me the first one is alright since it is very easy to get up there.

That last one where you need agi, however, is not ok since not everybody can easily access that rooftop.

true, 2nd is really easily reachable    even as str.  Although I never managed to get on the 3rd and 1st.

I dont think it is that much of a problem anyway, even for me as melee (mostly). They care more about other archers around the map who try to shoot them because they are vulnerable to all 4 sides.

However, there should be at least a new rules which forces you to get down when you are last man standing...

I get on the arc for lulz sometimes... spamming "I'm defending the..." 
It's more a question about to know where and when to jump but then it's pretty much reachable by anyone, me thinkz.

Is it worthy a ban? None of those spots in my book... For me it's not glitching.
Kick? Only if he is the last guy of the team and refuses to get down when out numbered properly. But then it's more about delaying and less about a non-reachable spot. But then there are the flags if they aren't buggy.

Certainly not worth the time to make a ban request about... that would take as much time as it takes the maps to change.
If an admin is present, it's a situational decision by the admin as described above.

Tho I am pretty sure there are new admins around where you might run in open doors with this.

i always had a doubt on this kind of spot, i already made a poll kick for those roof campers and it always finished in huge debat on the server...
so instead pissing off people ingame im asking on forum...

to me when a spot give a huge advantage to an op class like a ranged and you have to do some tricky jumps, and there is no easy acces(ladder/stairs), it's clearly an unreachable spot.

i know some of you are pros to parkour but comon if the spot havent be thinked to be reachable by the map maker it's a kind of "glitch" no ?

about the arch it never crossed my mind to try to go on it and i dont know how, so if there is no clear way to acces on it, it's not legit in my opinion.

now are we playing a war game, are you playing to fight each others or just for spam vocal voice and climb trees like monkeys ? =)

Last time I made similar thread, answer was: it is okay until last man. That doesn't take into account admins who cba to enforce the rules most of the time.

Honestly, no it would not be a glitch.
It is merely a place that the developers did not have in mind when creating the map.

It'd be a glitch if you had to use some exploits, like jumping against a wall which magically bounces you back if you hit the right spot over some other wall to get underneath the map or out of bounds or whatever.

That's not entirely true. Because, at first, most maps were pretty much open. Then Mustikki (who was at that time map manager) and others started "fixing" them by adding invisible walls to places which were considered as exploitable. Just because some places haven't been fixed by invisible wall, doesn't mean it is okay to abuse it.

Don't get me wrong, I'm not in favor of limiting the gameplay and I'm especially against invisible walls. Those places OP posted are all relatively easily reachable and most of the people know how to reach them and which tools to use. But devs themselves have stated their view on this by putting invisible walls on maps and not allowing access normally to most roofs. Sometimes their intention to "fix" things reaches pretty extreme levels, for example, there is a map where it is impossible to come near certain building because there is a porch nearby. Some braniac has put invisible wall all around that specific area (around the porch), had a laugh when I spotted it
