I waited for this for the multiplayer, but apparently such easy projects can be screwed up.

-No expansions. What? Basic game has way too few maps and not even random generator. And it's quite boring if you have spent ages playing the game with expansions. I guess they will be available on DLC later.

-Apparently multiplayer doesn't work.

-15€ for such an old game they have "improved" and that lacks most of it's original content.

I'm glad I didn't rush to buy it at the first sight. Some russian HD mod makes my old game work really well. Well, i guess it's nice that newer generations get aware of this wonderful game.

General Off Topic / Independent Scotland

In September this year, the Scots will vote whether they will make their own country or stay with the UK. I'm wondering whats the reason for that. For what I know there haven't been any oppression by Englishmen for a long time and the Scottish people are living quite happily? One would think they would have integrated quite well already since it was over 300 years ago when Scotland was conquered. Also they have quite powerful local government as far as I know.

What advantage would independence bring compared to being united with England and the rest? Also yesterday Jose Manuel Barroso said that it would be unlikely that Scotland could join EU, so they would have to go alone, quarreling about the North Sea oil and stuff with their former motherland.. If I was a Scot, I'd just be a proud Scott and happily stay in the UK.

But please enlighten me, is there some other reasons for Scottish independence than pure nationalism, no matter the consequences? And what is Scottish nationalism based on? Being barbaric bagpipe player? Why can't they do that stuff now, why do they need an own country for that?

The last sales just ended, the same games again and again. I'm not very excited at least, just waiting if the new AC would be 25 euros or less. Discuss.

I hadn't swum in years, now have been for a few times lately, it's way funnier than I remembered.

As the title says, this is a topic for poin and click and click adventure games.

The golden age for these were 80's and 90's I guess, but I know there a still some made these days.

I've played some of the LucasArts classics (Monkey Islands etc.), tried the new Sherlock Holmes titles (didn't like much), and some of the Telltale games. And Botanicula, soon will play Machinarium.

So I'm asking you to give recommendations for new games, I nearly bought Deponia when it was on sale, but read it was quite bad.
