Game Admin Feedback / [EU] XyNox

I was actually waiting for somebody to open a thread about me to tell everyone what an archer biased badmin I am. Apparently nobody felt the need to do so, even after about 1 and a half years now of my adminship. I guess I didn't do a terrible job then, right ?

You may contact me via forum PM or on the c-RPG.net site if my assistance is required. I am usually not involved in strategus affairs and you may see me around on EU7 most likely.

In case it just so happens that I saw fit to kick/ban you for your actions and you feel subject to injustice, please feel free to contact me in a civil manner. I am not afraid to admit a wrong decision and will not bear a grudge against those pointing them out. Despite the traditional cRPG forum and ingame trashtalk, I dont mind whether you are a 2h hero, shieldnub or my old friendcher - as an admin I see all as equal.

Now with the formalities done, you may now use this as a nerf archer thread.

Joined EU6 with my main, didnt spawn with a bow, just a sword. Everything is fine. I pick up a bow from the ground and before I can even release 2 arrows at the ball carrier I get ganked by all the the Ser guys and insulted for playing as an archer. This ganking goes on for several minutes, then poll abuse.

A few minutes after that Fin joined and banned one of the pollers. That didnt stop Kevan_II though from polling again when Fin was gone.

5. Why you think the offender did what he did.*
Same old story, some melee players think they are entitled to break rules as long as the violations are against a ranged player. I guess bans just need to be a bit longer than the usual 2 or 3 days so people finally understand that this is not the case.

Diplomacy / CoC closing borders

Due to the recent incident near Amashke we have decided, we shouldnt allow similar incidents to happen.

The Council of Calradia decided to close its borders. Trespassing or trading inside of our borders without a legitimate agreement will be regarded as an act of aggression and will result in an attack.
Here is the graphical representation of our current claims and borders:

This policy will be enforced without delay. We grant 24 hours to those who currently are inside of our borders to leave our claimed lands. Whoever remains inside of our borders after that deadline will be considered trespassing and will be attacked.

In order to establish a trade agreement or request passage through our lands, please feel free to contact us.

Nord_Furax was the last in enemy team vs 3 of us: SisterOFCharity ( archer ), RunningBear and me. Sister and I were shooting but Furax ran away for 2 minutes, running into the edge of the map, avoiding confrontation. When I tried to shoot, RunningBear kicked and nudged me to interrupt my shots, which I started reporting after a few hits. He stopped at 3 reports. After some time I stopped chasing Furax. This is when the conversation in the screenshot took place. We were just standing there, nobody doing anything, Furax still hiding at the edge of the map. At this point porthos created a voteban against me for "delaying".

It may be noted that Porthos tends to this kind of behaviour, yet we didnt feel the need to report anything yet.

Same old story. Ranged my old friends are bad and griefing them is cool.

The Chamber of Tears / new 2h animations

I think 2h stabs should be tweaked, people stab way too much.

When ever somebody stabs with a 2h and it doesnt hit an enemy, there should be a new animation. When this happens, the 2 handed weapon should slowly float out of the owners grip, as if guided by ghostly hands. The weapon would slowly hover behind the playermodel and align its point a few centimeters away from the users rectum, then remain stationary there for some time in midair. Then, suddenly, like being shot out of a ballista, the weapon should thrust into the 2h asshole at maximum ram speed, thus taking 95% of the current 2h's HP.

As all of this happens the 2h should also moan in pleasure. The whole animation would play for a about 1 minute and render the 2h completely immobile. If the 2h happens to die while this animation plays, it will start all over again the instant he respawns. Additionally, for the duration of this animation, any damage taken which is located in the area of his butthole, by either friend or foe, would also exponentially increase the volume of his moans.

I was playing normally when this one round I killed an enemy cav player quite early in the round, one of my teammates wrote "noob" in chat. I didnt know who he was adressing or in what context it was meant but apparently he was adressing me. Still minding my own business, said teammate attacks me from behind. Due to him missing the first 3 strikes I was able to block all his following attacks without getting hit.

He doesnt stop so i kick him and try to run away, he reports instantly and still chases me while trying to kill me. At this point some other teammate jumps in and tries to block his swings ( thats why it jumps from 1 to 3 reports in the screenshot ). When I realise I cant do anything from stoping him I open a voteban and he teamkills me while doing so. Thats where you see the "die bitch" in the screen.

In deadchat the cav player I killed initially said that he told my teammate to kill me. I answered that this doesnt matter as he is going to be banned for this anyway. Team loses, I quit to write banthread. Whole story ends here.

Because he is a friend of the cav player I killed and wanted to avenge him.

Game Balance Discussion / Buff siege shields

I love siege gear and I think its a pity that siege shields arent used much in non-strat games.

The siege shields right now can be destroyed in a single 2h swing. I think it would be appropriate to give those a bit more survivabitlity as in surviving 5 ( or even more ) hits maybe instead of 1. They will be still destroyed pretty fast and you wont be able to effectively block entrances with them but at least it would occupy an enemy for more than 1 second to down the siege shield, giving them actual value for defending positions. Right now I dont think they are worth 2 slots and 25 kilograms.

Its getting out of hand. You cant enter EU4 these days without finding at least 50 % of the people trolling, teamhitting, delaying or doing some other crap.

Case: Repeated intentional teamwounding

Player Sanjaun was running around in peasant gear with high ath. He teamhit me with a throwing knife or somehing at spawn. When I reported, he continued to teamhit me until he got 4/5 reports, then left the server.

Nothing was happening before, I didnt interact with or even noticed this person before. Nothing was happening after since he quit.

The build seemed like a typical, high ath, low upkeep troll build. Only plausible intention for me is "for the lulz".

There is nothing more that could have been screenshotted. The amount of teamhits, seen in screen one, clearly shows it was intentional. Timer 5:52 shows that it happened early in the round.

cRPG Technical problems / Nudge bug

I just encountered a player called "Master_Thorr" who managed to nudge and slash at the same time with a danish greatsword, which I havent seen before. He runs up to people and right when his swing starts, he simultaneously nudges without showing any nudge animation or interrupting his attack, leading to an unavoidable hit a few milliseconds later. He did it repeatedly, so it doesnt seem to be a lag occurence or a fluke.

Sorry if this has already been reported, please fix.

cRPG Technical problems / Character retrieval

Hello there,

some time ago I deleted all my characters, gold and items in an attempt to never play this game again. I thought I could be stronk and simply switch to something else.

A fool I was. Almost every day when I got home from work I was remembering all the good times I had with this game and all the weird, yet funny personalities I met. I tried replacing cRPG with Vindictus, then Warframe but they are simply no alternative.

This one day I read on the forums that nudge has been implemented for all gamemodes and I thought, "well, im not really starting to play again if Im only checking out those nudges, am I ?". So I played around a bit, testing stuff and
BOOM, im lvl 30 ...

Even though I have none of my looms and only a regular lvl 30 build, after this break the game is incedibly fun again and my rage levels are on an all time low. This break was truly in need and I want to apologize for any insults that I may have inflicted back then.

So long story short, I am humbly requesting to have my characters restored.

I already contacted Meow like 2 weeks ago but he seems to be on vacation. Then someone told me to contact Weren, who apparently is not the right person to contact about such matters. Thats how I end up here.

This has become a burden.

Most of what was once appealing about cRPG has become corrupted somehow. Every day I am way too optimistic about having a good time when I jump into a server, just to see some severe flaws with the game, which are up to this day refused to even be considered as such. The times when the game was fun, rather than an arrangement of nerfs, restrictions and an image of crudly executed patches, are long gone.

Devs did at no point show the slightest amount of interest concerning ideas and suggestions presented by players, nor were they willing to at least spend the time to give feedback about what the playerbase thinks about their decisions.

Aside from some exceptions, this community, without any doubt, consists of one of the most worthless and pathetic human beings I have ever met, ingame and on the forum. Any form of constructive criticism is immediately drowned with pomposity by people who do not seem to be mature enough in order to know about the necessity of interpersonal skills yet.

I am addicted to this game but eventually I realised, no matter from what angle I look at the present state of cRPG, there is nothing left to gain for me. I was secretly hoping for some change that brings back the fun that I remember I had in the early days. I was chasing a mere illusion here. There are many things I like to do with my time, which I am probably not doing due to cRPG. I got some great fun and thrills out of this mod every now and then but in its current state, the only winning move seems to be not to play the game. And I am afraid that this is not subject to change.

That said, I hereby request to be

permanently banned ingame and on the forum,

my main, alts and skip the fun character to be permanently deleted,

all my gold, items and heirlooms to be irrepealable erased.
