hello guys, I borrowed a laptop from someone for the time being (until february) and it has huge troubles running crpg at even the lowest graphic settings (as far as i know)
is there any way to lower the graphic usage so i can play at 60 fps? currently its a steady fuckin 7 fps :\
laptop:
Processor Intel(R) Pentium(R) Dual CPU T3400 @ 2.16GHz
Memory (RAM) 2,00 GB
Grafisch Mobile Intel(R) 45 Express Chipset Family (Microsoft Corporation - WDDM 1.1)
780 MB total graphic memory
Its a packard bell EASYNOTE SL35
do I need to lower something? the texture and shaders are already at its lowest, but i dont really know much else about the settings to make the game roll smoother
Help would be appreciated :x

I suppose you have already turned of MSAA, have you? Because that has the biggest impact on fps.
-
MSAA?
I have no clue
I am stupid :)

Antialiasing. It has to be in the third row or something in the graphics settings. I would give you a screenshot, but it has been months since I uninstalled.
-
oh yes, that's off, FXAA is off aswell, post processing filter too.
anisotropic filtering is at x4, although I have no clue what it does

I'd turn that, HDR, shadow and reflection settings off too. Also, there must be an fps setting that allows you to cap maximum fps. If you haven't done it so far, cap that at 60.
No other solution comes to my mind. Except maybe, if you don't mind having some insanely amusing textures, you could try the Scary mod. It will whack the graphical beauty of the game off, but give you fps in return.

I'm gonna try that, thanks cocky :)

I had it once. I do not recommend changing to the lowest of the lowest graphics! did u already change from x9 to x7? That'll make the game a shitton faster!
-
directX or somt? how do I do that?
-
go start warband and go to the config in the start menu thing before the game starts! There u can change from direct x9 to x7 somewhere
edit: warband launcher, not crpg launcher u know
-
Do you happen to know how to play cRPG using warband launcher? everytime I do so, it says my game is outdated (using latest warband update, not 1.3) I need to lower my graphics to x7
-
crpg only playable via launcher I believe

True, but you can also only change the DX setting using the ordinary Warband launcher.
