Title: Champions of Europe - Country by Country
Post by: Korgoth on July 25, 2012, 02:13:24 am
The Champions of Europe - Country by Country

I was enjoying reading this thread quite a lot (http://forum.c-rpg.net/index.php/topic,36427.0.html). Of course I didn't actually know any of the players the NA guys were talking about so I couldn't really join in the conversation much and I thought it would be good fun to do one for Europe. So here it is.

How this will work:
Post a reply with who you would like to nominate. Feel free to nominate as many players as you want in the post. If you nominate yourself, I would like someone to reply to you and second your nomination. Popular Nominations will be put in the Current Nominees list and country by country I'll make polls where people can vote the best player of that country, the poll will stay up until we can see who clearly is the winner; if the votes stay very close, I'll have to keep it up for a few days.

"Best Player" does not necessarily mean "Best Dueler", although skill at duels can help. Things like teamplay, situational awareness, ability to use multiple weapons should also be considered.

Picking a Champion:
When I start polling for Champions of each country, once a champion is picked for atleast most of the countries; If people start to feel that someone else deserved to be Champion more than the current one, if there is enough interest I will put up another poll between the current champion and usurper.

List of Countries: (Just copy and pasted it from a site, tell me if I should add a country or delete one from the list. If a Dev has the ability, maybe he can tell me which countries have no cRPG players so I can delete them from the list.)

The fanboyism for your own clan is quite obvious.

I'll give it a shot for the countries where I can atleast make an educated guess, fanboyism for Byzantium go!

Austria: Schmacko
Belgium: JackieChan
Croatia: Cpt.Georges, barely plays anymore though
Denmark: GTX
England: Chase
Estonia: Cyber
Finland: Kastu, there is also TuckMunck though.
France: Royanss, best horseslasher in the game.
Germany: Paul, barely plays though and I have no clue how he does in battle, Atze perhaps. Although there are lots of other contenders.
Greece: beer
Netherlands: Tommyyy, perhaps Darian
Norway: Gurnisson? Don't know anyone else, if Tor is from Norway or from Denmark, he's my nominee for whichever he lives in.
Poland: LoR or Rantrex, CarpeDiem is also very good.
Russia: KpuBopy4ka
Slovenia: Vibe
Spain: Lalien, if he's even spanish, always under the impression Warpigs was a spanish clan.
Sweden: Phyrex and Lezard barely play, bagge has archer skills and a good dose of melee skills, but there is also Dezibagel, Bjored and Gravoth, fucking Sweden.
Turkey: Cicero or Hearst, from my own experience I'd say Hearst.
Ukraine: DaveUKR

Edit: Due to my own love for melee fighting and duelling I'm afraid I ignored ranged and cav for the most part and mostly focused on duelling skills.

Skill at warband broken down into 4 categories,

Skill at duelling (the least important)

Awareness of battle (cav there archer there inf there friendly here etc etc)

Teamwork (charging in by yourself is dumb)

Knowledge of how to win in a situation (it's no use knowing where everyone is if you don't know who to hit first)

what do we judge their skill off ?

Well I'm guessing Ireland doesn't have enoguh people for a team of their own. Like Corwin is playing for Croatia when he is from Monteblack in spanish

Bit of a dilema at the minute, there is a maxiumum of 5 options for each poll.

When I do a country with more than 5 should I:

- Just pick 5 that I think are the best?

or

- Make a vote with 2 options and basically have a knockout type poll.

Let's take Sweden for example. I make a poll with these 2 options.
Group 1: bagge, Phyrex, Polepoop, Parre,
Group 2: Lezard, Dezilagel, Bjord, Gravoth

Now you vote which option has the player you want to vote for. Then... whatever group wins I'll make a second poll where you can vote for each player.

I have seen polls with more options.

Well yeh I copy and paste whatever people write. Silly people.

For inactive players I think they should have a good say, like Chuck Norris is still nominated for Portugal, in my opinion he should win.

PS: Chase is winning by quite a lot. I might keep the poll up for another hour or two. If Chase is still winning by a lot he'll win and I'll put another poll up to speed this up a bit.

No, Bavaria is a state or region of Germany. Germany is a country. The United Kingdom/Great Britain is made up of four countries (England, Wales, Scotland and Northern Ireland).

England, Wales and Scotland are not seperate countries. The country is United Kingdom. If you are going to act like this just for the United Kingdom, there is going to be tons of discussions about other countries. The official, sovereign state is United Kingdom so keep it that way, although all you proud English, Scottish and Welsh nationalists might not like it.

The only other people who want to see another country split is Germany, but Germany is still just one country. The United Kingdom is a sovereign state with four Countries within it, they are still four seperate countries, but are just all ruled by the same Monarch.

Quote
It is a country in its own right and consists of four countries: England, Northern Ireland, Scotland and Wales.

Germany, is one country with 16 states in it. The same as America is one country with 50 states. A State is not the same as a country, no matter how large or small either of them are. Most States in America are bigger than England but they still are not classed as their own country.

I don't want to see germany split here, I just don't get why GB gets a special role in this. I've never heard that a counselor or queen or duke of England, Scotland, Wales (or whatever that name would be) has visited any foreign state. I only hear about a British Prime Minister or maybe the Queen who speaks for whole UK as I understood it

Scotland has it's own First Minister and it's own Parliament but (I think) they are ruled by English Parliament. Scotland was actually trying to gain independance from the United Kingdom a while back. I'm not sure how that actually went, maybe it's still going on? Where is Team Hungary? You obviously have a lot of quality players but I don't see you in Nations cup approved teams list :?:

Such strong squad with good leadership and decent tactician could go far in the tournament.

When I'm pole, I can be a great support player when fighting in a clump, atm I'm a useless 5PS shielder not crutching on huscarl or armour and I could probably still beat Casimir.

Anyway I agree it's not 100% about duels, it's 70% about popularity and 29% arselick and 1% ability.

Yeah, those men on the isle are a bit strange. They believe they live in a country in a country (is that inception?).

Some of the german federal states like Bavaria and Saxony have an official name "Freistaat" ("free state"). After all its just a name with no special meaning, same goes for England and Wales, just let them believe in their fairy tales

No, they meant country.
England, Scotland and Wales are countries within the country United kingdom.

Not all countries are sovereign states.

Then there are some regions that are recognised by other souvereign states as souvereign states but not by the country which it is located in.

Ok I'm going to have to fucking spell it out for you....

They are four Countries that make up a NATION or a KINGDOM or a Sovereign State.

A Nation doesn't mean one seperate country, it can be multiple. It's still four countries but are all ruled by the same monarch and goverment.

Anyways I'm sick of saying this. Just fucking use Google.

The Swedish votes are crazy.

Germany is a tough choice.

Urist or Paul rather, as he is called in cRPG, is a top notch dueller, because of his crazy blocking skills and patience. Don't know if that gets him anywhere in battle, playing a shielder and all. I doubt it. Being able to block is only a small part of what constitutes skill in cRPG which gets ever smaller.

Sonjarr is not going to win because he is an underappreciated player, but he is actually very good, just a tad bit suicidal in battle sometimes.

Plavor should go full melee and he would be a scary motherfucker, but he insists on wasting his time crossbowing, mostly aiming for other Byzantines.

Bazinga is a really good battle player with consistent good scoring and displaying a high level of skill with all of his alts. Whenever I see a fallen guy go 15-0 I always wonder if its Bazingas alt and it mostly is, no offence. Guess my vote goes to him, as Atze and Tyr are both really good duellers, but I'm not sure if their battle skills are on par with Bazinga's.

Korgoth, although its a nice idea to make this thread, you didn't divide the votes between infantry, cav and range.

It is obviously that the community will vote more for 2h heros, polearmers, shielders or 1h because they fight melee ( thats what the game is about ).
Chase is the Champion of England but I would bet that he is worse than Zerobot (England) when it comes to archery ( in any case ).

A lot of people hates range and cav although there are a lot of scary good people who are really good in every category you mentioned.

Example :  Champion of Sweden is Phyrex  ----  He is the best 2h hero of Sweden afaik, but he would lose every archery duel and would score worse than
bagge. Many people think that bagge is indeed the best swedish archer but they just vote for Phyrex although he's not playing anymore since about 3-4 months
                  and bagge is range.

If this thread should be taken serious, you should make seperate polls between infantry, range and cav.

Northern Ireland: Omega (Alpha)

Anyway, I think this whole "Champion by country" thing is quite stupid and irrelevant.
People are always biased and those getting most votes are not always the ones that truly deserve it imo.
Instead the one winning is the one who have most fans.

But most of all, I think it's really stupid to compare players of different classes.
Instead we should compare players within each class or even playstyle.

I don't have time to do this myself. Someone else do?

Just copy paste this below text, gather nominees for 3 days, and make a poll lasting 24 hours for each class:

(click to show/hide)

Even better would be to arrange buy in tournaments (like the poker's "sit n' go") where the prizepool is made up of buy ins.
These tournaments could be held regularly for each class.

He is 1 handed Shielder on foot, I saw him once on battle but never saw him riding any horses. He mostly play on rage ball because after Ozin left he is the one who is in charge of the game mode. I nominate Urist for the best player in Germany, he is the best blocker I ever saw and will ever be. He can block every single hit you strike and he can block'em all, but sadly you can only see him on rage ball but he doesn't use shield in there . He have 8 riding with 6 ath 18/18 build :D

If you play on rage ball regularly you will think he is the best too if you have a fight with him

Can we have categories by single weapons? I nominate myself for Light Lance on foot. I should get a good chance, as almost no one uses that

:)

We need to add game mode as well (siege, battle, rageball, duel).

Yes because being a good blocker means you are good in general  :? I can block perfectly too if I don't attack back or just do very basic attacking stuff.

why not spliting the ranged thread into 3 different categories

example,

The Ranged Champions of Europe

Serdaristan: bundle of sticks (archer), Aimbot (xbow), Lulzy (thrower)

all these classes are much more different than each other to master at, you can also do the same on cav like 1h, ha, lancer categories etc

Imo, both Hearst and Cicero are aces but Hearst takes the cherry due to sharper battle awareness and more consistency. Cicero can have his moments, though.

But in Battle, Hearst wins IMO. Otherwise very difficult choice, as Hearst and Cicero are very equal.

Hasul is their best shielder (Grey Order).

As I have played with LoR for countless hours on TS back when he was much more active in-game then he is now I can say with clear conscience that he was best shielder that I had a chance to fight against in cRPG, awsome timing and reflex he was doing even better without a shield. Okocha is in my opinion best Polish duelist but my vote would definatly go for LoR
any other  nomination is simply stupid

PS Rey is Ukrainian

Honestly a shielder that relies on a spamitar (extremely broken curved blade with fucked up hitboxes which has enough speed to connect before the animation lol) can't be taken into account.

Can easily say that had more problems dueling muffin when he was a shielder/1h than LoR or any other spamitar grey (note than I'm not trying to insult or minimize value in any way). He was actually scary.

Also, LoR was hacking and stealing. No glory for him.

Maganda doesn't only get kills in spawn. The amount of times I've seen him one of the last players on the losing team and him win it for the losing team by just sweeping in whilst the enemy go for the rest of the infantry.

First of all. Imo putting all players into different categories is stupid imo. Just gonna take longer time to get em all.

And secondly, Tommy is cav guy or did he respec? Lol he's great as a cav so why not put him in cav category if so?

Darian is easily best melee player in that list, but TomMyYY rips shit with cav, so when that poll comes you can rest assured he wins. :P

Anyway, Teeth is good and all, but Darian is a bit more keen on the melee part. Teeth, at least be happy your brain doesn't have defects unlike Darian's.
Title: Re: Champions of Europe - Country by Country
Post by: Leshma on July 28, 2012, 06:07:38 pm
Most of you think that Tommy is average at melee because he doesn't last long when he is dehorsed. You obviously haven't seen Tommy's dedicated melee alts.

Darian gets killed by pitchfork equipped peasants too often to be the most awesome dutch infantry player

Teresa is also great player. When he's not fooling around, he plays a lot like Massassin. Good thing is that I know how to deal with both of them. So far, biggest mystery for me and hardest to beat is Xquallity.
Title: Re: Champions of Europe - Country by Country
Post by: Bjord on July 28, 2012, 06:12:26 pm
Darian is brain dead, he gimps himself with weird builds. If he would take a balanced build, he would be a lot more effective.

However, I feel as if TomMyYY's battle awareness is better than Darian's. And Teeth shouldn't have more votes than TomMyYY either.

You should just have kept it overall Champion (even tho cRPG community favors melee heros). Who gives a shit about being "the ranged champ of Sweden". The only nominee was in fact me, since Aderyn are only playing on NA servers (he is just as good as me, even tho I believe I'm stronger melee ).

Anyway, for Italy, Hellfrag is ranged, you should switch him from the infantry list.
For Spain I nominate pOLLACABALLO.
Blast should definitely be on list, I guess he's polish or something. Radh is also worth putting in the list of polish ranged nominees.
Panzerstyle, Jash (aka Jhash/Feddy) & Carl_Hans for Denmark.
ROBINHOOD for Finland.
Nebun for Russia (freaking disgrace that he hasnt been mentioned already)
Cheapshot (the archer, no idea where he is from tho, maybe someone knows)
Cup1d, Ukraine
Pandemona and Tonyouk (aka MikariN), Turkey

Can't remember 'em all, but yeh, some nominees for you.

just because they are not known to the community, I bet they would get some votes if people saw their name and their country.

recorded players by country. Then after that you can nominate.

I've duelled Tommy recently and he's still a top notch infantry, but he was using a quarterstaff which is not your average infantry weapon, so can't draw any conclusive conclusions out of that. I think Tommy would be better than me if he gets in his top infantry shape. Not too sure if he would be better than Darian though, who gets shamelessly underappreciated in this vote. If he would get a regular build and get in shape, he's probably the best Dutch infantry.

Title: Re: Champions of Europe - Country by Country
Post by: Teeth on July 30, 2012, 03:44:43 pm
Phyrex for Sweden too.
Nope.

First of all, Phyrex doesn't play anymore. Yes, back in summer 2011 Phyrex was completely beast and back then I would've easily called him the best player in cRPG. Then he stopped being a 2h, was somewhat mediocre at being a polearm and whatever else he tried. I duelled him rather recently and he was not that astonishing. Being the best player once, does not say anything about his performance a year later, especially because the average skill skyrocketed since then. Guess you don't agree as you are still persisting with ChuckNorris being a good player which is completely retarded.

Duelling skill doesn't say it all anyway, when is the last time you saw him play battle? He was never a teamplayer, just a lone wolf, getting a fair amount of kills, but not displaying any teamplay.

When there is Bjord, Dezilagel, Polepoop and Gravoth on that list, he does not deserve that title at all.

I dont see how dueling determines the best player? Being a master in duels, but being complete crap in battle and siege due to random charging and lacking awareness isnt really useful to anybody.

Lezard is not the best swedish infantry at all. I duelled him, I fought against him in battles and he is really good but not as good as Bjord or Darian.

If he would play more and get his old shape back, he would be the best swedish infantry player :)

Darian should have won this vote, IMO. Second one TomMyYY and third Teeth.

As has been mentioned, while TomMyYY is far from your average cav player on horseback, neither is he on foot with the same build. AFAIK, he has very low IF and 7 athletics, 5-6 powerstrike(possibly lower) which is fairly  gimped for an infantry-centric perspective. In this state, Teeth has more than enough of a chance. I still believe Teeth can contend for the 2nd place for the Dutch player base even if TomMyYY had a non-gimped infantry build. Teeth, to my attention, began improving rapidly just recently(4-5 months). It would be my guess that he is still in the process of fine tuning and mastering his playstyle.

However, Darian is playing in one division above both Teeth and TomMyYY(not by much, but noticably so). He should stick to what he knows and a build that is balanced and he will prove himself in many people's eyes, not just folks who duel a lot.

Also, Dima was cav. :)

He was not bad, but IMO in that regard sayAttack is more appropriate for nomination. Logen is good but makes many mistakes due to laziness or whatever.

In my opinion:

1st KpuBopy4ka
2nd Logen
3rd BlackCorsair(not Black_Corsair, which is the HA)

Title: Re: Champions of Europe - Country by Country

BlackCorsair is the lancer/1h shield, Black_Corsair is that annoying HA fucker with arabian go-cart, Yumi bow and scary aim for 110 ping.

BlackCorsair has been playing since Warband beta.

And that's a valid guess, there is a RU cRPG server, they've set combat speed to max and everyone uses a shield or has a crossbow/arba. They effectively managed to re-create Native environment.

Who is Dede? Is he a lancer? Can't remember him being cav.
sikici on the other hand is a good lancer so I would vote for him.

Dede is one of those lancers who can hit 10 heads in 5 seconds with his lance.

He was 2H cav but that was ages ago, in old cRPG. One of the best players back then.

Dede is one of the best lance cav in the game so far. He had mamluk armor with cataphract horse, with cav. shield. He has not been around for the last 2 months, so newbies cannot know him therefore has no right to vote against him :)

Oberyn is IMO decent inf, but Renegat, Kansuke and Rubicon are a notch above.

Can't decide who is better, Kansuke, Renegat or Rubicon.

I am leaning for Rubicon, though. I feel he has a lot of skill, but is very underappreciated. So is Kansuke, Renegat tops scoreboard a lot so I don't think he will have trouble getting votes.

I vote Rubicon. :)

EDIT: lol after seeing vote Kansuke is definitely not underappreciated. Oh well.

Don't be offended if I say I don't think you are skilled enough to recognize true skill, polelord.

However, Kansuke may be better or equal to Rubicon but for that they'd have to duel. Judging by the fact that Rubicon chambers consistently in battle and Kansuke being a shielder, I am opting for Rubicon. Never saw Kansuke play anything but shield.

Well he is good at both so why not put him in two polls? Some people say I suck at pole infantry and tell me to go pure cav because they think I'm good at it. Some other people say I suck at lancing and I should be pure pole inf because I'm decently good at it. That's the story of how I decided to make a hybrid :D.

But you are not that capable at analysing ppl to see how skilled they are imo.

Maybe u have much difficulty at duelling rubicorn, but eveyone's fighting style makes them easier to duel for some and harder for another ppl.

But you are not that capable at analysing ppl to see how skilled they are imo.

I'll tell you why you are wrong in a non-biased way: People who have learned a lot from over two years of playing, improving their skills on a daily basis, have a better perspective of what is skill and isn't. Seeing you play and having dueled you a numerous time, you are a bit above average but not really one in a million. Many players are like you(which is why you practice to improve, separating yourself from others).

Maybe u have much difficulty at duelling rubicorn, but eveyone's fighting style makes them easier to duel for some and harder for another ppl.

If you think I judge someone's skill by the amount of times I lost or won against them you must take me for a simpleton. I watch every detail and take every circumstance into account when I make an "analysis"(really just an educated opinion...).

So next time you decide to bullshit, keep this in mind.

Pandemona and Tonyuouk (aka MikariN), Turkey

Some players will surely regret what they have said or what they haven't.

Nordmen voting for Nordmen.
Templars voting for Templars.
Even non important clan like Wolpers voting for Wolpers.

Epic thread indeed.

People vote for players they know are good (and who they like personally).
But not because they are in the same clan, although that is often the case.

The problem is that there is so much hate between different classes.
And all classes are apparently "gay" or "easy mode" in some sense.

This leads to a non friendly relationship between players of different classes (and clans) if they don't know each other.
But as soon as you get to hear that person you "hate" talk on teamspeak for example, you most often start to like him (or stop disliking him).

Each class takes skill and experience to master. Playing something and doing fine doen't mean you have mastered it.
So please, stop being racist towards other classes by calling them easy mode or gay.

Furthermore, this undermines teamplay as players of different classes don't feel they need or want the help from "lower" classes.

Templar votes templar

Byzantium votes byzantium

and then

No faction people votes their favorite players/friends

and then comes the real votes for the most skilled players

Random guys who doesn't know people "personally", like some guys who chat with each others in-game + clanmates, votes the most skilled player on his opinion.

Kansuke or Renegat. Urgh. Fuck I really don't know. Renegat on his A-game goes 20-0 like it ain't nothing, I've seen him win rounds that I was sure we lost. I find Kansuke harder to fight though in a duel and he mostly uses light armor in battle, which does kinda reduce performance imo. Then there is also Olwen, used to be beast, but wasn't too impressed by his more recent playing.

Going to give my vote to Renegat by a really small margin.

What did you expect? I vote for players I know only. So if someone is not playing on EU1, he doesn't get my vote, because I don't know him. If he is someone I never noticed, he doesn't get my vote either. This is a popularity contest, nothing more. And it's kinda stupid, as in small countries with few players you have no choice. If I were from vatican, I would be the best inf there

And I wouldn't vote for a Wolper if I know someone is better than him in that poll. But its just more likely that I know the clanmate then the other guys. BTW: There was no Wolper on poll so far (only ex)

TuckMunck (ab)uses a glaive so -100 respect. Seeing how Kastu does in a fucking pilgrim robe I am just going to vote for him, perhaps just because his playstyle deserves much more respect. Can't really make a good skill comparison.

Is he from Moldova or Russia?

I never really thought highly of TM. He is good but he just goes loads of AGI with a spamming MW Glaive. I've never really seen him block.

Both of them used to be 2h, you just don't remember Kastu then because you barely went on the duel server.

Kastu has a very risky playstyle that isn't very effective most of the times while TM is calm and securely blocks until he spams when you do overly complex feints. TM wins my vote by playing it safe and swinging when it counts. Kastu does block a lot too, considering he uses a steel pick, but he dies a lot more with that pilgrim robe.

Agreed though, Kastu wins my respect, TM my vote.

Massassin used MW Italian Sword, now uses MW KAS. He rarely dies.

Kastu is still 2H, that's his main. He's king of chambers, I'm trying to copy his 2H style.

Massasin gets more votes cause he is more known person and plays "special style". TM will get less votes cause everyone QQs about his glaive spamming and other OPness of glaive.  Tm isn't just glaive troll , he beats people alone vs multiple players and was an awesome shielder before he retired to polearmer.

My warm-ups have always escalated into lengthy duel sessions similarly to as they do now. I just improve very slowly, but steady. Anyway, I can't recall TuckMunck ever using something else than a glaive and I didn't really notice Kastu until summer last year, can't keep track of a thousand players and their playstyles during two years. All of that is irrelevant anyway, I judge players by their performance now.

Looking at the choices Finland has some damn good players for such a "small" country 8-)

I can't but give TM my vote (Leshma ) even though Massassin is a great player too and really fun to watch most of the time.

I never really thought highly of TM. He is good but he just goes loads of AGI with a spamming MW Glaive. I've never really seen him block.

Then you missed something, he's maybe one of the best blockers and not just spamming.

TM_Wolper all the way, he is pretty much the best polearmer that know how to spam effectively, he kills players like bots in single player,  his blocking skill is excellent too, he top score pretty much on everymap and he know how to fight Cav well, everytime charge to him will end up getting dehorse/ killed unless you charge him with a Great Lance

Kastu is great assassin too, but Massassin always ended up getting killed by Cav quite often, and TM knows how to deal with them effectively. I say Kastu is great for ambush players, but Kastu and TM fights, i am pretty sure TM will win since he could spam his 160 length weapon against Kastu's small sword to death ;p

You guys frogot mustikki, and he kicks ass with pretty much all classes, problem is he has so many similarly names characters, that I dont know what his class is on his main.

Voted TM, I like kastu, but I never really viewed what he did as anything more than glory hunting. Despite being an assassin, I rarely see him aim for the most dangerous targets, and doesnt contribute much to his team imo. TM really gets stuck in, and thats why he has my vote, Kastu better 1v1 but overall it goes to TM.

Kastu's massasin alt is indeed impressive, but as someone said above TM team plays better while still being awesome considering individual skill.

For some reason I never found Kastu's main too impressive. Must be because I happen to have pretty much the ultimate shield basher of a weapon in the game and he avoids me or something? Or have I just been too ignorant towards 1h players? dunno... Still great but not in TM's level me thinks. I do remember massasin chamber blocking my couches and normal lance attacks with a dagger. Hard decision in the end but I voted for TM for the team play skills.

Bullshit.

Elsupreme is untouchable. Tank. Devastating polearmer. Dado is one of few who can touch him.
This poll is big bullshit. Cpt.Gorgeus is also awesome but he's not playing regulary for long time now. Gnjus is above avarage. Nothin special, he's forte are op classes.
Sad that no one mentioned Ironlake and Ccleaner. Respectable players.

Sorry Korgoth, but you didnt do good job on this poll like you did on all others.

Cheers :-)

As if e-peen threads weren`t always bullshit...

Common Korgoth, I know you're better than this, mate.

It's never too late to stop this sad parade.

Please write "Asepl" as a competitor for polish infantry championship. Rantrex is better, but it would actually be nice to see what people think about me.

Rantrex is better, Quatal is better, LoR is better. But hell, add Asepl too.

I'm not Stalin. I don't rig the polls.  People vote for whom they want.

I wanted to stop this a long time ago...
