General Off Topic / Anyone with some computer knowledge that can help?

So after trying to fix my Rocket league problem, it crashing my gpu without putting any sort of strain on it (gtx670), it finally caused something much worse than simple crashes.

I was stupid enough to continue trying to fix it. Now i get artifacts on bootup, when booted i get gpu crash>computer restarts etc. I managed to boot safe mode, disable GPU to stop the crashing. Even with GPU disabled i get artifacts on bootup etc, so what causes it? Is my power supply failing? Should i attempt to oven my GPU?

Im honestly amazed a game could fuck my computer up, and yes its the only possibility because ive played far more straining games than rocket league, and i even put rocket league to minimum graphics.

Any sort of help would be appreciated, untill then i will have to attempt to beat Dungeon crawl stone soup. So far im considering handing in my computer somewhere to see if professionals can fix it, but at the moment it seems excessive if i can possibly fix it on my own.

Since i cant find any official thread for it, but a lot of mentions in other threads, im starting one now... bringing... THIS



A long time ago they said they would stop updating it, but they still havent, and every patch is worthy of a new playthrough. And its free, more content than most DLC's in other games, and freeeeee. Will probably post whatever madness might be built on my server.

How do i become admin? Fin only bans people outside Krems so EU1 needs some adminning. Theres been teamkilling, delaying & brocoding going on this dark night with no one getting banned but poor Oberyn.

Admin me today and banning all hobos will come free of charge.

edit: On a serious note, im very actively playing the game unlike the current admins. I would warn before kick then ban etc, fair admin duties. Im just sick of delayers & brocoders which are pretty common these days. Teamkilling doesnt happen often outside of this kremsinvasion, but when they do I WILL BE THERE.

According to this video i just found on the tube of you archery is supposed to be op, i think we need mechanics that make archers able to catch arrows midair. I think we can also find very valuable information in the sections of commentings where many people are clear professionals and know way more than the video itself!

Anyone hunters here getting their 3ds's ready? could use some peeps to hunt with. Release is 13 feb, probably going to be getting it on release.

This one's only on 3ds, kind of a shame but i managed to get my 2ds(3ds just without the 3d function) for like 50€ so i got a good deal out of it.

Never will you feel as satisfied killing a massive beast as in any of the monster hunter games.

Remove it when theres less than 40 players or something. It feels like its just a one sided beatdown every round if theres one clan stacking. Especially if krems are stacking, when theres like 15 players on a team and krems are 5 of those doing absolutely nothing in spawn while team fights 10v15 against a stack like barabe or eques. Theres just no chance of winning or even putting up a fight.

Also ban brocoding.

After playing this game for so long there are some thing's i'd like to see changed back or just removed for more consistent and fun gameplay.

First being rain, please just remove it, or atleast the penalties it comes with. It really feels like its raining every other map and its just plain annoying. I doubt anyone actually likes it.

Second, block stun on sideswings. On overheads its cool, makes overheads useful for something since sideswings are generally better and easier to hit. It just feels so random when its on all swings, hard to predict, encourages random swing spam while i feel overheads can be tactically used for a stun to put people of their groove.

Thirdly remove turnrate nerf, maybe im biased as a stabby polearmer but lately i've been playing a lot of 1h and 2h and even on them it just makes me feel out of control when i cant turn enough to keep up with someone strafing sideways, especially now with the generally higher athl on the server. It doesnt really limit spinstabs, it just makes them inconsisitent and makes me feel less in control of my character.

Any chance of a mechanic that will kind of resemble a dodge, like a jump to the side in order to position yourself better when fighting multiple enemies? Current cRPG uses athletics and pure movement speed for all kinds of positioning, i'd like to see a game that has very similar combat movespeeds (where armor/weapon weight would be the only factor in movespeeds), but having a high amount of a stat that would resemble athletics in crpg, makes you able to dodge more often, and sprint faster when running straight.

Being a darksouls freak, i love dodging mechanics, rolls and all that jazz, it just adds a really nice layer of defensive play.

So the speedrunning event of this summer has finally begun. Schedule for all the games here http://gamesdonequick.com/schedule. Not sure how many here enjoy watching stuff like this, i am fascinated by it though. Soo many glitches and tricks to abuse in order to beat the games as quickly as possible. Always lovely to see a childhood game which took you weeks to beat now be speedrun in an hour. It's a pretty big event, 60k viewers right now and increasing fast.

Also donations for charities and stuff like that.
