Best items to +3?

Phoe and I are trying to turn Byzantine Guard into a noob friendly banner and to facilitate this we are trying to expand our armory. We have a bunch of lps sitting around but we don't know what we should masterwork as neither of us know what are hip with the kids these days. We're hoping to expand the armory to have a wide variety of gear within every class that new people can use to help them out against the oldheads that are level 35+.

Any suggestions would be great, thank u.

shield, longer and slower duely polarms (scottish halberd, poleaxe), military hammer 1h, and body armor in the 14-18 weight range, and 24 longswords

imo the 1h italian sword is a really nice blade overall, prolly the sword ive used the most. was my initial blade when i first started playing 1h and i havent really tried other swords that could compeat with the overall balance speed/thrust/swing/length and maybe most important: (to me) weight. all the stats is just really nice. of course there are swords that deal more damage or swing faster but they have downside stats being heavy or inferiour trust.

A good way to run an armory is to loom stuff and put it in there so new players can use it
