Hahaha holy shit I had completely missed the Pandor ban drama, read through a couple of threads concerning it, so much shadenfreude keks. I confirm though that this bundle of sticksry had been around since long before, as, again, many players had been ranting against it since it was first exposed, when the forums were still on Taleworlds site. I can understand why Pandor thought that this was not a bannable offense since no one had ever gotten banned for it before, despite screenshot and video proof. His arrogance and pride in his cheats was not entirely his fault, in the case of modifying these files for advantage it had always been indirectly condoned by admins and devs, or at least considered as a necessary evil. The ban on Pandor is arbitrary when you keep the past history of this issue in mind. If anything he was at least honest about it, unlike some other cheating bundle of stickss I could name.

Will mean specificaly that - modifying items as it's done with the heirloom items, sound mods, custom item skins (changing the texture to fit your personal roleplay) is ok, removing weather effects, removing foliage, making buildings transparent, glowing items - not ok.

Elaborate on glowing. rainbow coloured arrows or even Pandor's arrows werent glowing.

And what if i want to roleplay personally as a stormtrooper? can i have laser beam arrows.. as long as they arent "glowing"?

Which still has bushes , but transparent showing the outline only, and trees being modded like that. What would be the rules on that?

In my opinion these rules still gives room for "people" being idiots.

In that particular case you can tell his comp is barely handling a reasonable fps as it is with that level of detail. More like Scary Mod than anything. The lack of bushes and trees clearly gives an advantage, especially as ranged, and yeah, I would consider that a cheat. But it's not nearly equivalent to bright neon coloured weapons/arrows/bolts in terms of artificial advantage you get over other players. This shit is just common sense, something you seem to lack when it comes to crpg rules.

I can see that coming from a player that plays the most OP class in c-rpg and only sperg rages about ranged. I bet removing bushes and having tree's and foilage "half transparent" like that, would work in your advantage over having colored weapons

I'm thinking about that one map that is just a fucking forest with a circle of stones in the middle, that one is a bitch at night, with no bushes or trees it would turn into a completely different map. It is common sense that this is a vastly bigger buff to a class that can hit from across the other side of the map than one that must close in to get a kill. I've had my doubts about some ranged players cheating bushes/trees based on that one map alone, but that could just be my inherent loathing of ranged biasing me.

You are potentially right, but its still up to admins to decide if he would continue "in private" after being unbanned though. I do not hate Pandor but from the community-wide trolling he engaged it wouldnt be above him ))

Occitans are from Canada right? Canadas economy never based on slavery of black people and had never same anti black laws like USA. In Europe the situation is the same. Don't want to sound selfish (haha, sounds like fish) or egoistic, but IMO any game texture modifications should be prohibited, since you can never draw a definite line between what gives you an advantage and what only improves the looks.
I mean, come on, why not play the game as it is.
