which ligament is torn?  is it torn in the middle or at the bone, or did it tear out a piece of bone?

or you might go to real doctor :D

masturbating while looking in a mirror isnt wrong unless its the rear view mirror and you are driving a school buss.

I actually had my ankle broken (just a tiny bit of bone ripped off the malleolus, so only Weber A) when I thought it was just a sprain. It didn't even hurt. If the swelling doesn't go away soon visit a doctor and get it x-rayed.

Nah, it's not that bad, guys. Just the outer part of the ankle is a little swollen and red and yesterday I had a vein-like thing pop out of my foot on that spot, about 2 hours after it happened.
Only thing that worries me, is that there seems to be a small tear, where the ankle is connected to the lower calf. But not actually achilles, just the muscle on the right side of my right foot on my lower calf.
I won't go to the doctor unless necessary, I've had very bad experiences with'em.

just go to doctor, there always can be some mini injury that will rek you later if you dont treat it properly.

Are you shitting me? This is the first time ever in your life that you've sprained your ankle? Do you do absolutely ZERO physical activity up until this point? How do you get through this much of your life with only one sprained ankle? I don't understand!

Are you shitting me? This is the first time ever in your life that you've sprained your ankle? Do you do absolutely ZERO physical activity up until this point? How do you get through this much of your life with only one sprained ankle? I don't understand!

I am usually very careful with my movement, that's one reason. Also, I've been pretty fit up until like two years ago, when I stopped most of my physical activity, quit playing football etc. and became sit-behind-PC-every-chance-I-get-person with the run-with-my-dog twice a day regiment. Yesterday, I took a free MMA training to try it out and hurt my ankle, while doing those backward rolls where you extend your feet and stand on your hands mid-roll. Tumbled down like a log, under my own weight and landed with a lot of force on the balls of my right foot.
So, yeah the reason I never sprained my ankle before is because I am not a clumsy bitch, this time being an exception. But hey! Atleast, I know I need to work on my upperbody strength, so it's not too bad!

Anyway, I continued the session, like nothing happened, which probably wasn't the best idea.

Ice it, elevate it, and if the swelling doesn't go down, go see a doctor. It might be a good idea to wrap it too if you have to do any far walking or anything like that, just to keep it stabilized. If it's just a sprain you'll be fine. Sorry to sound so cynical, I just always find it amusing when people seek medical advice on this shit forum. Wasn't sure if you were trolling or nah.
