Hello.

How does the fighting work?

In one of the videos you said there's a 360 degree attack and an 8 directional block. Blocking looks to be CRPG style with diagonals. I'm assuming as long as your weapon is in the right place then you'll be good to go, if not you get hit. Could you clarify this?

Will there be zones on your weapon where if you don't get the block quite accurate enough will you be stunned? Say if you block a swing with the middle of your weapon or the tip?

Is there going to be a specific time period it's set in? Most of what I've seen are around 12th century and you've said before Medieval Europe so no Eastern or Arabic stuff. Also would this be potentially added later with expansions or DLC?

Finally, how are you guys going to promote team play and formations, if you've gotten that far of course.

Do you plan on treating clans in a similar manner as they are treated in crpg (i.e. balanced to the same team, custom banners, etc.)? Will they even exist? Will there be any changes to how clans are implemented?
They will be pretty much the same as in c-rpg.

Awesome. Melee should have a large enough playerbase to not have to worry about the majority of downsides that banner balance brings to us currently with cRPG.

I once read a post from cmp, if I`m not mistaken, that MBG will be mod friendly, does that still stand?

Also, are there gonna be built in options for tournaments and themed battles?

If I understood correctly, MBG will have its own strategus, if so, is it gonna be set in medieval europe, or somewhere else? Will it be the same as the current one, an improved one, or an entirely new one made from scratch?

I read haralds post, in which he mentioned that you will be able to customize your gear by spending loompoints (?) to improve certain things ( speed, damage, body protection etc etc) thus making every item you own unique. Will there be an option to recolour or add special accessories to your gear?

Last but not least, will you organize a presentation of the game somewhere in Europe? I bet a lot of the oldmy old friends would gladly come to Austria for a couple of days...

It's amazing how many issues that cRPG has can be solved by having a significantly larger playerbase.

We have a plan for a "Tavern" game mode where you can hang out to chat, trade and practice duels with some casual competitive stuff going on. Planned are ranked duels which are single-eliminiation style with 8 participants and optional signup fee/prize money. Also planned are tournaments which can be set up and customized by players to a certain degree (some options might be reserved for official events to make them more special).

The idea is that the shop offers only a basic version of an item. So instead of having all color/heraldic/visor/etc. variations readily available for buying they can be unlocked by using loompoints.

Holy shit this sounds so fucking sweet.

To expand on this, why not have some minigames to socialize, like a chessboard on a table you can interact with and play in downtime.  Also, lederhosen and beer mugs, tavern weches you can chat with and a "drunk" mechanic. Like you wobble around after drinking too much and auidbly hiccup ahhahahah

Oh man i would love this stuff so much

I can already see it a month or so into the game an average day server list will look like this:

EU1 (battle) 14 people
EU2 (siege) 42 people
EU3 (tavern) 78 people

Do you honestly think you have any sort of moral authority, Reyiz? Go genocide some more armenians and deny it ever happened, please, and stay in the middle east.

Hoping to have a queue system eventually though, so if people are idling or w/e in the Tavern they can signup for X/Y gamemodes meanwhile.

Already asked but will you make a Studio name to call your team?

To look more professional than calling the devs « chadz and his friends » on press release.

A "Donkey Crew" logo to place on every official trailers.
