According to calculator on the website that's not true. Every point in IF above 4 decrease effective armor weight and wpf penalty.

calculator is trash. game makes 0 sense. never understood having debates on anything in this game

Debating stuff in any video game is a nerdy waste of time unless you make money off of it, but you don't have to get med about it.

I've been screwing around with strength stacked builds lately, they seem to do OK in battle as long as you bring a long-reach medium to high speed weapon (94+ for pole) and take advantage of the fact that AGI builds depend on speed bonus to do damage as much as possible. High STR/Actually getting IF is gets more effective in siege/in groups of high armor people, but NA siege is ded and NA battle's full of sanic hegehogs.

getting almost oneshotted by a staff with 64 head armor and 70 body armor goes against every damage calculator i tested. their is no rhyme or reason to this game. which in its own right is great!! too in depth and realistic can cripple the fun factor.

also inverted mouse movement and mouse sensitivity is a different beast alltogether.

I like theorycraft as much as the next guy, but Dread has a point. Stupid stuff happens in this game that defies reason:
-Horse bump range extending out as far as a lance sometimes
-Getting 1-shot by crappy weapons when it should be impossible
-Take a throwing lance to the head and it does less damage than the follow-up throwing dagger
-Opponent attempts a kick while you are behind them, it still somehow hits you
-Fast polearm hits you without even rendering a single frame of the swing animation
-Guy jumps, falls through the ground, and stabs you from his subterranean sanctuary (Tanken does this so much devs should give him a unique miner's helmet, like that Burger King hat Kaok briefly got to wear before he was banned)
...etc

11/39 couch cav

It's just a hell of a lot of fun with a good +3 horse. You just crank up the tunes and do mainys all day.

You feel like a battle field assassin / hit and run machine. I just cruse around looking for dangerous players and trying to ambush/shut them down. With high manuver and 11-13 riding you can go from stand still to couch in like 5m so it makes it possible to launch some spastic ambushes. My favourite so far was waiting on the other side of a door and charging across a gate house and actually couching the dude that smashed the door, very amusing.
Fammi un pompino!

I think I have ball cancer in my right nut :(
Good news everybody! It's not nut cancer :)
Bad news everybody, I got dumped :(

Gonna try that frank. Edit: here is the build

Strength: 12
Agility: 30
Hit points: 47
Converted: 4

Power Strike: 4
Shield: 8
Riding: 10
Weapon Master: 10
One Handed: 151
Polearm: 150

So do i even need polearm wpf for couching or what? I was gonna use a 1h as a side weapon when i get dehorsed

I think more pole wpf allows you to couch faster.
As in lower lance faster and less cool down between couches.

Yeah, pole wpf affects what Tojo just said above, and the 150/151 split should be just perfect to keep couching comfortable and still have good speed with your sidearm. (You could also dump all the wpf into pole and carry a staff)

I ended up dumping more to 1h because it increased the 2h and pole stats too.
These are the numbers i am using now. Pretty insane if you ask me:

One Handed:204
Two Handed:42
Polearm:121

Put 1 in riding and 2 in shield. 1 IF wont make that much of a difference but 2 more shield skill will. But why did you put points into 2h if you are going for 1h/pole?

Do you intend to do a couching/1h build or a lance/1h sidearm when dehorsed one?
