I removed the rule before a single team had played their match, what was added on the 4th and 5th were clarifications to how the BO3 matches were to be played, and edits showing Tortuga had won their match. If you didn't notice the edit prior to that date, that's your fault for not keeping up with changes.

Still, i am curious what unique items and titles will be given out to those who actually last, you know, those that "win by default" At least here people fought over 3 times, feels a lil more like a proper tournament compared Kao's triumphant victory over the masses, lol.

P.S.  Tydeus added this after my post - (strict round date & time limitations have essentially been abolished.)
So basically teams can postpone fights indefinitely for half a year and win by boredom.  This is bullshit.  Tydeus you can't change rules last minute to suit your own aims.  Time was a factor before this and tortuga almost didn't make finals because of it.  Double standards.

All rounds will conclude after each match has been played. Once teams are aware of who their opponents are, they're free to schedule and play their match (strict round date & time limitations have essentially been abolished.)

Just clarifying it was September 4th. No reason to jump down Tydeus' throat. It was said early on before the tournament even went live that this tournament was going to be pushed clear into the school year for a lot of people, and that was bound to cause problems. I'm not trying to kick the hornet's nest here, but he did state it Sept. 4th. Now, Cockstars, hurry up and tell me when you guys are going to play this Rematch so we can record it!

Actually, I'm fairly certain my apathy for cRPG has grown so strong, that I didn't even care to make the post stating the change or rule edits until a while after I had stated them at the top of the knockout stage OP. So, as it has been stated before, instead of complaining about how this is ran, why not apply for event manager, yourself? It's not as though I ever had the intention to do anything more than to set up the infrastructure which allows these events to even happen, so it would certainly be welcomed by me.

Thanks, but I'd rather not send mixed messages here. This will be my last tournament for a long time, so if NA wants to see them continue, they'll need to have someone step up to the plate (it's never enough to simply raise your hand and say "pick me.")

its september. most people got shit to do
