That regular (not heavy) bastard sword still has penalty on 1H use, despite being only 100 grams heavier than long arming sword. Not to mention it has slightly lower reach.

That sword should get separate speed rating in 1H mode, instead of being thrown into one bag with weapons like morning star and heavy bastard sword.
